the problem isn't solved.
wenn I set a acpi timer (the system isn't booting) and next time the network is down. also when I make an hardpower off, the network isn't working.
Only on an fresh restart or a boot without a setted timer the network goes online...
routing looks ok..
I will try some add. things...

thanks for your help, now it looks great.
With your command dmesg, I get the info "netdev watchdog: eth0 transmit timed out" so i googled and found the following article :
ACPI
I updated the Bios from Version 1.0 to the latest 1.5 and reseted to default setting.
So now I try to understand the acpi wakeup...

ich bin neu auf dem Gebiet des VDR (und eigentlich auf auf Linux 
) und habe ein Problem mit meinem Netzwerk.
Wenn ich den VDR mit angeschlossenen Netzwerkkabel boote dann leuchet auf der Karte nur das orange Licht und nichts geht. Nur ein ping auf die eigene IP funktioniert. Steck ich das Kabel erst nach dem Boot an funktioniert es.
Kann aber auch sein dass das eher Einbildung ist und es einfach immer nur mal geht und dann wieder nicht.
Auf jedenfall hab ich im www nichts viel gefunden, könnt ihr mir sagen in welchen Logs ich da weiterkomm, bzw vielleicht kennt wer schon das Problem was ich hab.

Board ist ein ASRock G41M S mit der Onboard Realtec Nic.
