Mit matroxset kannst du es in der Tat von NTSC auf PAL schalten.
Kompilier es dir doch selbst?

Ja. Mplayer läuft alleine auch super. Nur grad nicht mit vdr. Aber das schaffe ich noch

Ich nutze es per fbxine.
Der Rechner schafft es, nachher schau ich mal, was top sagt.
Einziges Manko ist im Moment noch, dass ab und zu oben/unten anstelle der schwarzen Balken Störstreifen auftreten. Aber da ich es erst heute morgen hinbekommen habe, bin ich optimistisch, noch was dran zu drehen.

Ich habe eben erfolgreich directfb + fbxine + vdr 1.5.8 zum Laufen gebracht.
Wenn du noch Interesse hast, dann schreib ich, wie ich es gemacht habe.

So. Wie gestern schon im IRC festgestellt, lag es wirklich an den Rechten.
Ein chmod vdr /var/vdr -R hat es gelöst.
Das nur als Nachtrag für alle, die damit auch Probleme haben sollten.

Die Sache ist aber die, dass auf meinem Problemrechner nur diese Verzeichnisse da sind:

Hi!
Ich habe zwei Rechner, auf einem konnte ich vdr problemlos installieren, der andere macht nur Probleme.
Ich habe installiert:
media-plugins/vdr-remote
media-plugins/vdr-xine
media-plugins/vdr-xineliboutput
media-tv/gentoo-vdr-scripts
media-tv/vdrplugin-rebuild
media-video/vdr
Anschließend per emerge --config vdr-xine aktiviert.
Nun finde ich /var/vdr/xine/stream nicht.
Dieser Pfad ist aber notwendig, um über xine den VDR zu kontrollieren.
Bei meinem anderen Rechner ging das ohne Weiteres. Ich konnte sogar auf Anhieb die Fernbedienung einrichten...
Was habe ich nun falsch gemacht?

DVB Treiber habe ich immer über "hg clone http://linuxtv.org/hg/v4l-dvb" bekommen, von daher kann ich dir da keine Versionsangaben machen.
Aber damals musste ich immer noch den Patch einpflegen (den 008er habe ich immer genommen). Seit "kurzem" muss man das nicht machen. Seitdem geht auch w_scan nicht mehr. Muss aber nichts miteinander zu tun haben, weil ich ja nicht genau weiß, ab wann es nicht mehr geht.

Die vorhandenen Sender gehen aber.
Der Treiber kommt von "hg clone http://linuxtv.org/hg/v4l-dvb". Einen Patch braucht man ja nicht mehr.
Hat jemand eine Idee, was man machen kann?

Was könnte ich dagegen tun?
Mischen von den hg-sourcen und Vanilla-Kernel wollte ich eigentlich nicht, da bei diesem Misch-Masch meine DVB Karte nicht mehr richtig funktioniert hat.
