    also ... ein kleines Erfolgserlebnis!
    Habs dann auch mit modprobe budget && modprobe budget_ci versucht und habe nun unter kaffeine das DVB Symbol nicht mehr ausgegraut. Nur kann ich jetzt noch keine Sender finden.
    Wohne im Ruhrgebiet und hier in Dortmund ist das Signal ausgezeichnet. Der Signalbalken beim scanen steht auf 100% aber es wird kein Sender gefunden ...

    na das ist ja mal ein Ansatz um zu einer Lösung zu kommen. Danke für die Infos!
    Da ich z.Zt. an der xp Kiste poste, und ich nicht am Linux Rechner rankomme, kann ich es jetzt nicht ausprobieren. Werde morgen noch mal ran gehen um das zu prüfen. Ich halte euch, falls es euch interessiert aber gern auf dem laufenden.
    Muss nun mit dem Hund raus ... Bis denne und schönen Abend noch ;)

    Ja es ist echt frustriernd, als wäre es für einen Linux-Anfänger nicht schon schwer genug überhaupt irgendwie zurecht zu kommen. Und wenn dann die Installation und Konfiguration von nicht exotischer Hardware auch noch Probleme bereitet, kann einem auch schon mal die Lust daran vergehen. Aber ich gebe nicht auf und die Hoffnung stirbt zuletzt!
    Also ich vermute schon fast , dass etwas mit dem Treiber nicht in Ordnung ist, weil unter xp (paralell installiert) bekomme ich alle Sender und die Karte rennt einwandfrei.
    Die Hardware kann logischer weise nicht defekt sein.
    Seltsam finde ich auch, egal welches Kernelmodul ich angebe mit mit lsmod mir angezeigt wird das auch budget_core da mitspielt. Muß das so sein? Fragen über Fragen ...

    Achso, mein Kernel ist: 2.6.13-15.8-default, nannte ich schon im 1. Posting.
    Es kann aber vielleicht auch sein, das mein Kermel zu alt und der Treiber zu frisch ist.
    Ich weiss es halt nicht, weil ich auch keinen kenne der die Karte hat und bei dem sie auch unter Linux funktioniert.

    Hallo Leute,


    eins vorweg, Klasse Forum hier! Habe mich schon in verschieden Foren umgesehen und zu meinem Problem leider nichts gefunden. Wende mich nun an euch, weil ich als echter Newbie auch echte Probleme mit der Konfiguration der Budget Karte "Technotrend TT-T1300" unter Suse 10.0 habe.
    Würde gern das VDR Projekt anpacken aber zunächst muß ich die Karte irgendwie ans rennen bekommen.
    Die Karte wurde bei der Neuinstalltion von Suse gefunden, brauchte für die Konfiguration lediglich den Pfad der (Firmware)-Datei >> ttlcdacc.dll << angeben.
    Habe dann versucht unter Kaffeine Sender zu scanen, leider ohne Erfolg. Das DVB Symbol ist nach einigen hin und her installieren der Kaffeine Version nun ausgegraut und vorher hatte ich es. Aber beim scanen wurden dann keine Sender gefunden.


    Unter YAST steht nun folgendes:
    Technotrend-Budget / Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-T DVB card
    Als DVB-Karte Nummer 0 konfiguriert
    Treiber dvb-ttpci, tda1004x
    Firmware: Installiert (dvb-fe-tda10045.fw)
    Firmware: Installiert (dvb-fe-tda10046.fw)


    Wenn ich unter Yast auf => Bearbeiten => Einstellungen für Experten (zähle mich natürlich nicht dazu) gehe, zeigt mir der Eintrag >> Kernelmodul << :
    dvb-ttpci: driver for SAA-7146 based AVM110 PCI DVB cards by Siemens, Technodrend; Haupauge. als default Einstellung. Gehe mal davon aus, das die Einstellung OK ist. Oder muß die geändert werden?
