so jetzt wird es ganz lustig ... die Platten bzw. das System verhält sich mal so mal so:
Nachmittags ist sdb doch in den Standby gegangen, während sdc nicht wollte.
Dann heute Abends nach einem Neustart umgekehrt!
Hier die Dinge, die ich gecheckt habe:
VDR läuft, siehe:
ps ax | grep vdr

Zuerst ein: echo 1 > /proc/sys/vm/block_dump
dann
hdparm -S 50 /dev/sdb (4 minutes + 10 seconds)
hdparm -S 50 /dev/sdc (4 minutes + 10 seconds)
Nach zehn Minuten ins syslog geschaut; liefert:
grep sdb /var/log/syslog
grep sdc /var/log/syslog
keinerlei Zugriffe auf die besagten Platten.
Jetzt zeigt aber:
hdparm -C /dev/sdb
/dev/sdb:
drive state is: active/idle
hdparm -C /dev/sdc
/dev/sdc:
drive state is: standby
d.h. zumindest sdc ist in standby gegangen, jedoch will sdb immer noch nicht
Das Tollste ist aber, dass es heute Nachmittags genau andersherum war... sdb in Standby und sdc active bei gleichem Testsetup.
Hier ein paar Daten zu den Platten:
Beide sind 1TB, WD10EACS liefern aber leicht unterschiedliche Ausgaben für -M und -I:
