  • Enable HDMI Sound GT220

    Hi,


    I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic with kernel 2.6.31-16-generic-pae
    I have add the two patchfiles hda_intel.c and patch_nvhdmi.c to /usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.31-16/sound/pci/hda


    But when i try the command "make modules" i get this error:

    Code
    root@xubuntu:/usr/src/linux/sound/pci/hda# make modulesmake: *** No rule to make target `modules'.  Stop.


    i have installed "build essential" and "linux-source" but then i get the same error.


    Who can help me to fix this problem?

  • Troubles with diseqc.conf

    Hi,


    I have a Wavefrontier T55 with 3 lnb's and a 4/1 diseq switch.
    This configuration do i have on my dreambox:


    Astra 28.2E diseqc A/A
    Astra 19.2E diseqc B/A
    Hotbird 13.oE diseqc A/B


    What configuration do i need in my diseqc.conf to get this work?

  • Audio ok but picture slow

    Hi,


    Today i install the latest Kanotix live cd on my hdd.
    I have the problem when i what's a channel via Xine, then is the audio ok but the pictures are very slow.


    My hardware:


    P4 3.0Ghz
    1024 Mb memory.


    I think not the hardware is the problem!!


    Who can help me to fix this problem?

    I spend a lot time to search for a good howto to install a vdr system with a Skystar 2 card. Who can give me a good howto to build a good vdr system with a SkyStar 2 card.

    I have all my *.conf files edit in linux, not in Windows.


    I think it's better to start with a clean installation off Debian en then build again.

    I got a Fujitsu Siemens sceleo pc P4 3Ghz 512MB.
    This pc got a 250GB harddisk en contains a Skystar 2 pci DVB-s card.


    On this pc i have installed the kanotix-vdr 1.2 live cd.
    I have change the setup.conf en set DISEQC = 1


    But at the moment i miss the Diseqc.conf i see when i start VDRxine-tv.
    Can some one post the diseqc.conf for me?


    Can some one also explain me howe to configure the Diseqc.conf for my monoblock twin lnb.


    Hotbird = A
    Astra = B

    I try a few days to build my own vdr system, but i can't get it work.
    I have on my pc running kanotix-vdr 1.2.


    I have a Skystar 2 bvd-s pci card.
    And i have a Monoblock twin lnb with Hotbird / Astra.


    Who can help me to configure my system?


    I think the trouble is because te monoblock twin lnb.
