Meine VDR's habe ich bisher nur per nvram-wakeup aufwachen lassen.
Jetzt habe ich mal ACPI-Wakeup ausprobiert. Et läuft.
Was mir aufgefallen ist, daß der PC mit ACPI 5 Minuten später aufwacht, als mit nvram. Also pünktlich zur Startzeit des nächsten Timers.
Wollte nur fragen, ob das ACPI-typisch ist? Oder ist das Distri-abhängig.

Hatte mich vor ca. 2 Jahren auch mal für das Board interessiert. Weil ich das Gehäuse günstig bei Lintec gekauft habe.
Ist ein spezielles Micro-ATX Board von FIC mit Sockel 370 und TV-Out.
Hatte ich mal bei eBay gesehen.
Ein Board-Handbuch in englisch habe damals auch gefunden. Da steht die Bezeichnung aber auch nicht drin.

Gesundes Neues Jahr erstmal.
Also kann ich von dem Gedanken erstmal verabschieden, mein bestehendes System um die PVR 150 zu erweitern, wg. Kernel 2.4.30-ct-1 .
Mit ctvdrcfg Kernel 2.6.xx nachzuinstallieren klappt nicht. Warum, weiß der Fuchs.
Der Knackpunkt scheint zu sein, den Treiber ivtv mit Firmware (habe ich schon heruntergeladen) zu installieren. Anleitungen dazu habe ich schon genug studiert.
Vielleicht hilft mir der Link weiter:
Bleibt mir nur eins, Karte kaufen und in meinem Bastel-PC neuen c'tVDR 4 mit Kernel 2.6.xx aufspielen. Versuchen ivtv + plugin zum laufen zu bringen und meine Aufnahmen übers Netz rüberzuspielen.
Wenn nicht, nehme ich Analog-TV mit WinXP auf'm Bastel-PC auf.

Schade, daß es keine Distri gibt, die eine PVR- und eine DVB-S - Karte automatisch einbindet.

Also ich habe folgende Pakete dazu gefunden:

ivtv-0.4.1.tar.gz
Kann ich jetzt so vorgehen:
1. die PVR 150 in meinen PC einzubauen, das bestehende System zu booten und mich auf Konsole 1 einloggen.
2. mit dpkg -i ivtv-0.4.1.tar.gz den Treiber zu installieren, oder muß der erst debianisiert werden?
3. mit apt-get install vdr-plugin-pvrinput_0.0.8-4 (oder ein anderes) das Plugin zu installieren.
oder muß ich noch apt-get update machen.
Wenn ich den gesamten VDR neu installieren müßte, damit die Karte überhaupt ins System eingebunden wird,
würde ich den Kauf der PVR erstmal auf Eis legen.

bin kürzlich von C'tVDR 2.06 auf C'tVDR 4 (jigdo-Update vom 30.11.2005) mit Kernel 2.4 umgestiegen.
nvram-wakeup, lirc, Netzwerkanbindung mit statischer IP, DVD-Brennen usw. alles läuft perfekt. Bin total begeistert.
Momentan habe ich eine DVB-S - Karte am laufen (Nexus-S v2.1).
Nun möchte ich noch eine Hauppauge PVR 150 nachrüsten, um aus dem analogen Kabel gleichzeitig ein anderes Programm aufzunehmen.
Die Karte wäre für mich optimal, wg. Anschaffungswiderstand und fehlendem weiteren SAT-Anschluß am LNB.
Da mein Prozzis ein Duron 1300 ist, muß die Karte Hardware-MPEG haben.
DVB-C kommt nicht in Frage (zu wenig eingespeiste Sender) !
Geht das überhaupt, Kabel- und Sat-Karte in einem VDR-System?
Und wenn ja, wie kann ich die PVR-Karte nachinstallieren, ohne das ganze System neu zu installieren und damit meine Aufnahmen zu verlieren?
Laut vdr-wiki soll die PVR 150 im VDR ja funktionieren.
Meine Aufnahmen kann ich mir ja weiterhin über den TV-Ausgang der Nexus ansehen.

Wie gesagt, gibt der guess-helper auf meinem Sytem nur 4 Optionen vor [U/i/v/d]. Und die habe ich alle probiert.
Der Aufruf von set_timer auf Konsole 1 klappt auch nicht.
Scheint irgendwie 'ne ältere Version von nvram-wakeup zu sein (0.66 glaube ich).
Mehr Aufwand möchte ich mit dem KinetiZ-Board nicht treiben.
Deshalb habe ich mich jetzt dazu entschlossen, ein anderes Board einzubauen.
Das PC-Chips M810DLU, das ich letztens zum Laufen gebracht habe. Wird halt noch ein leiser Lüfter auf den Pro2000+ geschraubt und dann geht das schon.

Hast du auch zwischen den Reboots im BIOS die angegebenen wakeup-Zeiten eingegeben? Das BIOS mit speichern verlassen?
Jawoll, das habe ich immer gemacht!
Die vorherigen Zeiten standen auch immer beim nächsten Durchlauf von guess-helper im BIOS drin.
Wenn ich, z.B.
day 11, hour 12, min 13, sec 14, enabled
im BIOS setzen sollte, stand
day 31, hour 23, min 59, sec 59, enabled
drin.
Etwas anderes habe ich auch versucht:
- Nach jedem manuellen Zeit setzen und BIOS mit speichern beendet
- Rechner neu booten lassen bis zum LILO-Auswahlmenü
- Strg+Alt+Del gedrückt
- Rechner nochmal booten lassen bis Linux geladen war
- auf Konsole 1 gewechselt und nächsten Schritt von guess-helper aufgerufen

Spaßenshalber habe ich im BIOS mal noch ACPI umd APM abgeschalten und guess-helper.sh laufen lassen. Erfolg: NULL

1. habe "nvram-wakeup -I bio_m6vcg" auf der Konsole eingegeben.
Folgendes Ergebnis:

Mit dem anderen (nvram-wakeup -I msi_ms_6368 ) exakt dieselbe Ausgabe!
Wäre genau der nächste Timer in meinem VDR (minus 5 min) Tag 18, 19:00 Uhr.
Im BIOS stand vorher und nachher: day 17, hour 22, min 33, sec 44 .
2. danach guess-helper.sh nochmal laufen lassen mit Option: v (für VIA)
Der Inhalt in beiden erstellten nvram-wakeup.conf - Dateien ist derselbe,
wie bei den vorherigen vom Samstag.
Deine Tips brachten also leider nichts, trotzdem DANKE!!!
Dann werde ich halt noch die guess-error.log posten müssen.
Aber heute noch meinen USB-Stick mounten, nö, mache ich morgen.
Ist es eigentlich egal, ob die guess-error.log aus dem directisa-Verzeichnis oder aus dem anderen?
Hallo, kann mir jemand helfen?
Ich nutze den c't-vdr 2.06 und wollte mit guess-helper.sh eine nvram- wakeup.conf für mein QDI KinetiZ 7L erstellen. Hab's mehrmals probiert.
Klappt nicht richtig.
Es werden zwar die beide Verzeichnisse in /root angelegt. Da steht dann jeweils eine nvram-wakeup.conf drin. Inhalt: nur Hersteller und Bios - Infos,
mehr nicht.
Vermutlich, weil die oberen 128 Byte adressiert werden. In den Error-Dateien steht auch sowas. Leider blicke ich da nicht durch.
In der /etc/vdr/vdraddon-nvram-wakeup.conf steht Enabled=yes. Dort habe ich es auch mit COMMANDLINE="-I bio_m6vcg" (bzw. "-I msi_ms_6368") probiert (stand in der nvram-wakeup-mb.c für KinetiZ 7T..).
Datum und Uhrzeit im BIOS werden einfach nicht gesetzt. Setze ich sie von Hand im BIOS, fährt der VDR hoch. Es kommt auch keine Fehlermeldung beim runterfahren (...could not set time... oder so).
Kernel-poweroff ist installiert und funktioniert (brauchte ich vorher bei einem anderen Board).
Ich habe schon auf 6 verschiedenen Boards NVRAM zum Laufen gebracht.
Letztens erst ein PC-Chips (ECS) M810 DLU. Beim Gigabyte GA-6WMMC7 mußte ich sogar bei den shutdown-hooks was ändern (mit Hilfe Eures Forums).
Aber bei dem KinetiZ verzweifle ich langsam.
Tja und Grundkenntnisse in Linux fehlen mir leider auch.
Im c't-Heft 10/2004 steht zwar noch was von append="acpi=off" oder append="apm=off" in der lilo.conf. Aber ehe ich da was ändere, frage ich lieber jemanden, der sich damit auskennt.
Ach ja: Der Chipsatz auf dem KinetiZ müßte ein VIA8361 sein.
