[SOLVED upgrading to yaVDR 0.5]Total hang in yaVDR 0.4

  • Hi.

Last week I installed yaVDR 0.5 in this machine, and... so far so good. Installation was easy and everything worked without problem, even remote control.

Everithing goes right, no hungs up. Softhddevice seems to behave better whit channels with low level of signal and no hungs in a week. I hope it keeps working fine.

I will wait a couple of weeks, and, if no hungs, I will change the subject to solved.

Regards, thanks and congratulations for your work with yaVDR.

  • Hi again.

Three weeks without hangs with yaVDR 0.5, so, may be the problem was a combo betweet yaVDR 0.4 (or Ubuntu version) and Xtreamer hardware.

These last weeks, with softhddevice, the machine has not had any kind of "total hang" issue.

As hangs are not a problem anymore (I guess), I change the post to "solved".

    Thanks and regards.
