Hi,
I want to use instant recording forwarding of remotetimers plugin.
I have patched VDR 2.2.0 with the patch "vdr-1.7.28-remote_instant_recordings.patch" found on the plugin sources.
Then i recompiled vdr and the plugin.
But still no instant recordings forwarding option in the menu.
Pls help.

Have a look at the yavdr ppa:
Patches incl vdr 2.1+ compat patch
https://launchpad.net/~yavdr/+…r4%7Etrusty.debian.tar.gzAnd maybe using a ppa instead of compiling would make things easier... just an idea.

Still don't work. I must use all available patches or only the one for instant recording ?
I can't use the ppa because I have raspberry Pi 2. -
All you need is the instant recording patch. The setup option shows up when the define "REMOTEINSTANTVERSION" is found in VDR's config.h. Either something went wrong while applying the patch or the compiler found an unpatched copy of config.h somewhere in your system's include directories with higher precedence.

one more question pls, the vdr patch should be applied only on client side or also on the server side too ? -
It's only required on client side
