Ich sehe da noch keinen Zusammenhang zu streamdev. Wie sieht denn die komplette Parameterzeile für den Aufruf des vdrs aus ? Irgendwo wird auch ausgeschrieben welches Alsa-Device verwendet wird, entweder syslog oder stderr. Habe zumindest schon softdevice mit streamdev verwendet, also gibt es kein grundsätzliches Problem.

Hatte ebenfalls diese Kombination schon am laufen?
Wie gesagt softdevice-plugin funktioniert, sobald jedoch das streamdev-plugin (client) aktiviert wird, gibt softdevice ein kurzes Bild, dannach restart, mit der Message.

Hmm, so was habe ich auch noch nicht gesen... Und das liegt definitiv nicht am Streamdev, sondern irgendwo beim Softdevice oder Alsa. Das Softdevice setzt die Parameter des Audios erst wenn wirklich ein Stream kommt, deshalbt funktioniert es ohne Streamdev. Das komische ist, daß die Parameter ohne Fehler eingestellt werden können, aber wenn sie wirksam gemacht werden sollen gibt es den Fehler. Und 48kHz in Stereo ist ja nicht gerade was seltenes...
Kannst du mit anderen Programmen Audiodatein über Alsa abspielen? Was ist denn deine Alsaversion, welche Soundkarte hast du? Hast du irgendeine spezielle Alsa-Einstellung?Martin

Ist wirklich nicht die neuste Kiste (Athlon(tm) XP 1800+ / 1533), gebraucht für ein Apfel + Ei erworben, hat bis auf Grafik das meiste auf dem Brett (ASRock...).

MP3 Dateien / Videos abspielen, geht ohne Probleme.
Das OS ist so betagt, wie die Kiste selbst, ein altes SuSE 9.0, mit neueren Versionen konnte ich mich nicht anfreunden.

Mit dem Board vorher Asus A7V (+ Audio PCI) funktionierte das alles, nur war es SLOT A (800Mhz), so das ein wenig mehr Leistung schon recht nett sind.
Werde am Wochenende mal eine PCI Karte rein schrauben, villeicht geht es ja damit.
Ist wie gesagt alles nicht das neuste...
