I'm looking for a way to restart the VDR, after stopping it from the Commands menu.

After stopping the VDR the screen goes blank (which is expected, of course), but after that I haven't found a way to restart VDR, without restarting the whole system (Raspberry Pi3).

Would it be possible to configure some (keyboard) key, like Enter, Space or S, to restart the VDR?

Alternatively, is there a way to disconnect from the backend server, in order to release it to shutdown? I haven't found a way to do this in the client side VDR, without stopping the VDR, or shutting down the client.

PS. My backend server is running yaVDR, for historical reasons. I don't know if that makes a difference here..

Zunächst einmal, vielen Dank für die Arbeit, die Sie für MLD geleistet haben! Zweitens, tut mir leid, wenn die Sprache hier albern aussieht, habe ich Google Translator dafür verwendet.

Ich würde auch sehr schätzen, den MLD-Server wieder online zu haben. Bevor es zu Ende ging, hatte ich gerade mein erstes Testsystem installiert und es sah sehr vielversprechend aus!

Jetzt wäre ich sehr bemüht, es mehr zu versuchen. Ich hoffe, dass die Probleme bald gelöst werden können.

first of all, thank you for the work you have done for MLD! Second, sorry if the language here looks silly, I used Google Translator for this.

I would also greatly appreciate having the MLD server back online. Before it went down I had just installed my first test system, and it looked very promising!

Now I would be very anxious to try it more. I hope the problems can be resolved soon.
