kann ich davon ausgehen, das die tbs-6981 nicht defekt ist, wenn sie lt. dmesg erkannt wird?
was kann ich noch versuchen ?

so, jetzt habe ich den SW-Update gemacht.

vdr mit den IPTV-Sendungen hatte ich sehr schnell auf dem Schirm
dann ssh-Verbindung hergestellt#sudo su
#aptitude update
das Einspielen der Updates habe ich noch vertagt

weil ich mit 64Bit Systemen keine Erfahrung habe. yavdr04 basiert doch auf 64Bit OS oder?
Wenn es damit geht ist die Installation schnell gemacht.

ich bin vdr-Neuling und komme nicht weiter.
Die vdr-Installation lief gut (mehrmals ;-), aber ich habe keinen Sender und es liegt
wahrscheinlich am tbs-Treiber.
ja ich weiß, es gibt ne Menge Beiträge zu dem Thema und da die meisten als gelöst deklariert sind muß es ja wohl funzen - aber bei mir nicht.
Es läuft immer daraufhinaus, daß /dev/dvb/.. nicht angelegt wird.Deshalb poste ich hier.
Ich habe yavdr 0.3.1 dafür nochmal neu installiert.hier die Ergebnisse nach der Installation:

eingebracht wurde, der aber kein Device bereitgestellt hat in /dev ?auf jeden Fall habe einen funktionierenden VDR, der einen der 3 vorinstallierten
IPTV-Programme abspult, aber kein TV.also habe ich den nächsten Schritt gemacht und den aktuellen Treiber
nachinstalliert, streng nach dem README:

/dev/dvd /dev/dvdrwaußerdem listet dmesg nur 1 frontend auf, obwohl die Karte doch 2 Tuner hat.
das kann doch nicht damit zu tun haben, daß nur 1 LNB angeschlossen ist,
oder doch ?und damit bin ich an dergleichen Stelle, wie etliche Male vorher auch.
Irgendwo habe ich gelesen, daß man vor dem Übersetzen des tbs-Treibers den
v4l-Treiber entfernen muß. Wegen der Abhängigkeit zum cx23885 habe ich das
nur über Neubooten nach einem blacklisten mehrer Treiber geschafft. Dann
Blacklists wieder entfernen und tbs-Treiber übersetzen - hat nicht
geholfen.wie kann ich den blöden Treiber richtig installieren, oder liegt das
fehlende dvb-Device nicht am Treiber?bitte helft mir

den Beitrag habe ich mit Interesse gelesen, da ich es auch nicht schaffe, den tbs6981-Treiber so szu installieren, daß er funzt.
Die wichtigste Info scheint mir, den v4l-Treiber zu entfernen (lipianin habe ich nicht).

Hi,
mich hat die Kombination von dem ASUS-Board und tbs6981 auch überzeugt und hab im ersten Schritt mal Debian installiert.
Leider ist die Treiberübersetzung ist erstmal schiefgelaufen und die tbs-Karte von lspci nicht erkannt.lspci müßte die Karte doch eigentlich auch ohne Treiber erkennen. Hast du damit auch Probleme gehabt ?
