ich habe das Plugin geklont und VDR kompiliert.
Codegit clone https://github.com/MarkusEh/vdr-plugin-live.git make -j 5 LCLBLD=1 ONEDIR=1 cp -a live /video/pluginsim Browser sehe ich unter "Was läuft" die Sendungen.
Unter Programm und den Kanälen nix. Bei "Aufnahme" kommt das:

du kannst mit Wasserwaagen-App und einer Holzlatte die Blickrichtung simulieren.
(Freiburg 34 Grad aus der Horizontalen)
Holzlatte provisorisch befestigen und mit Handy entlangpeilen und Foto machen.
Dann sieht man schön die freie Sicht.
Gegen Schnee gibt es Heizungen für Schüsseln.

bei VDR Version 2.6.7 (auch bei 2.6.5) beobachtet.
Ich starte vdr mit leerer channels.conf und lege einen neuen Kanal an via skincurses. (siehe Bild).
es kommt nach anwählen des Kanals sofort im Log:
Codeinfo: Channel not available!(egal ob der Eintrag Sinn macht oder nicht)

wie muss ich (vermutl.) timers.c anpassen, damit das Ende der VPS-Aufnahme sagen wir 10 Sekunden später endet?

Du hast kein Output Device, darum kannst du den Live Kanal beim Start nicht umschalten und es kommt eine Fehlermeldung.
Neu in 2.6.5 ist, dass das geprüft wird.
Kein Problem oder Bug, sondern ein neues Feature.
