Ich habe einen LG 32LH3000 Fernsehen. Laut Herstellerangaben soll das Teil FullHD 1080p machen. Wenn ich nun aber X starte macht er automatisch immer 1360x768, bei einem recht ordentlichen Bild. Es ist zwar möglich (in den nvidia-settings oder direkt xorg.conf) auf 1920x1080 zu stellen, dann ist die Bildqualität Gelinde gesagt aber nur noch sehr bescheiden. Das Xorg.log versucht mir auch etwas zu sagen,

nur offensichtlich sprechen wir nicht die selbe Sprache, denn ich verstehe keine Silbe.
Am Fernsehbild kann ich eigentlich keinen Unterschied erkennen ob ich die Auflösung auf 1360x768 oder auf 1920x1080 habe. Kann mir vielleicht jemand ein wenig auf die Sprünge helfen und mir die Zusammenhänge kurz erklären?
