VDR developer version 1.1.21

    es gibt eine neue "unstable" VDR-Version...

    VDR developer version 1.1.21 is now available at

    ftp://ftp.cadsoft.de/vdr/Developer/vdr-1.1.21.tar.bz2

    The changes since version 1.1.20:

    - Fixed the 'channels.conf' entries for "Studio Universal" and "Disney Channel".
    - Fixed handling channels in the "Channels" menu in case there are ':@nnn' group
    separators without names (thanks to Guy Roussin for reporting this one).
    - The SVDRP command CHAN now also accepts channel IDs.
    - Increased the timeout until an index file is considerd no longer to be written
    (sometimes in time shift with heavy system load the index file was closed too
    early by the replay thread).
    - Implemented "Link Layer" based CAM support, which hopefully will solve the
    problems with CAMs we had in the past. To use this you need the driver version
    2002-01-08 or higher (with the new firmware supporting the "Link Layer" protocol).
    - Added an EPG bugfix that moves the Subtitle data to the Extended Description in
    case the latter is empty and the Subtitle exceeds some useful length.
    - Since several channels put very long strings into the Subtitle part of their
    EPG data, that string is now limited in length when used in a recording's
    file name.

    This version requires the experimental DVB driver from

    which is the CVS 'HEAD' version from 2003-01-08 with a new, experimental
    firmware that allows the application to connect to the CAM through the
    "Link Layer" protocol (see my separate posting regarding this).

    hab die neue Version installiert, läuft alles ohne Probleme.
    Der ElchiAIO2-patch läuft zwar nicht ganz sauber durch, scheint aber trotzdem zu funktionieren, VDR läuft - bis jetzt jedenfalls - nach wie vor stabil.

    Mahlzeit !

    Es gab / gibt in früheren Versionen von VDR das Problem, daß man nach einer Wiedergabe ein Allcam nicht mehr verwenden kann und erst nach einem Reset wieder verschlüsselte Sender sehen kann.
    Ist dieses Problem mit der neuen Version behoben ? Es wäre nett, wenn sich mal jemand, der ein Allcam besitzt, dazu äußern könnte. ?(

    hört sich so an, als ob du ein CA-Modul mit dem VDR betreibst, wie läuft das denn? Habe diesen CA-Adapter, aber weiß nicht ob das mit dem Modul einigermassen läuft, wenn welche Version von VDR kann man nutzen, hast du im Einsatz?

    Bleibe wohl erst mal bei der 1.1.20, die soll erst mal wieder richtig eingerichtet werden bei mir... komme nur nicht dazu :(

    ich habe eine DVB-s rev 1.3, an die ich das CI-Modul angeschlossen habe, das man in den 3.5" Schacht einbauen kann.

    Darin steckt ein Irdeto Allcam 4.7. Darin wiederum steckt meine Premiere-Abo-Karte.

    Ich habe die VDR 1.0.4 im Einsatz. Stabil wie Sau, allerdings gibt es das von mir beschriebene Problem nach einer Wiedergabe.

    Hallo

    Ich habe das Problem daß das CAM-Modul nicht mehr angesprochen wird.

    Treiber vom 12.08.02 und VDR1.1.20 -> CAM geht
    Treiber vom 12.08.02 und VDR1.1.21 -> CAM geht
    Treiber vom 08.01.03 und VDR1.1.21 -> CAM geht nicht/ist nicht ansprechbar

    Hat jemand das gleiche Problem ?
