vompserver und mediamvp unter Mahlzeit

Hallo alle zusammen,

ich hab die Suche schon bemüht, und auch schon das howto von hquant für die MediaMVP unter Mahlzeit mit dem vompserver durchgeackert.

Status: MVP bekommt eine IP vom DHCP-Server (VDR) und ist auch pingbar. Das Bild am Fernseher steht beim dritten Kästchen der MVP und steht und steht und steht.
Im vompserver.log steht folgendes:

Und genau da vermute ich das Problem. Er geht nie weiter als zum BOOTPD. Ich sehe nie TFTPD requests. Seh komischerweise am Bildschirm auch kein locating server. Es steht nur Rev1.0.

Hi,

bin etwas weitergekommen. Die MediaMVP fordert sehr wohl via TFTP die dongle.bin beim VDR an. Nur laut tcpdump sagt der VDR, daß das Port für tftp nicht offen ist. Somit vermute ich daß der vompinterne TFTP nicht läuft! Was kann da dran schuld sein? Oder wo find ich da den Fehler in vomp.conf ist er enabled.

Vorher kommt immer das bootp und danach wenn er zu tftp kommt macht er nimma weiter.

Hallo alle zusammen!

Mittlerweile läuft die BOX. Das Problem lag an den Berechtigungen der dongle.bin wie auch des Ordners /tftpboot.

Jetzt ist nur noch offen, wieso ich keine ORF Sender gestreamed bekommen!?

Hatte das Problem schon mal jemand?

Hi Markus,

das ist ne gute Frage welche die richtigen Berechtigungen sind. Hab nämlich mit chmod 777 /tftpboot die Berechtigungen komplett neu geschrieben! So gehts zumindest.
