hab gerade Nova-S Plus eingebaut und folgende module in die runvdr eingetragen:

Hab VDR 1.3.41 laufen. Kernel 2.6.15 hab ich irgendwo hier im Forum mal geladen. Fehlt vielleicht noch ein Modul, was ich laden muss?
Wie kann ich feststellen, ob die Karte läuft?

ich betreibe die nova-s-plus, aber mit suse-10.0 kernel 2.6.13.
Wichtig ist der Treiber cx24123, aber der wird ja wohl geladen.

geholt, compiliert und dann ohne zu installieren

ausgeführt. "unload" entfernt erst mal alles (darf ruhig einen Sack voll Fehler
bringen), "load" lädt alles was überhaupt an Treibern da ist (für alle

Dann lief es im Prinzip (hatte dann noch diseqc-probleme, ich betreibe
2 quattro lnbs an einem 9/4 switch). Nach ein bisschen bitfummeln im
cx24123 geht das bei mir jetzt (einschließlich der fernbedienung).

Weiß nicht, ob das für linvdr hilft...

Also wie mir scheint, funktioniert die Karte. Die Debug Messages scheinen den Betrieb nicht zu beeinflussen und ich konnte auch von der Karte aufnehmen.

Die Fehler, die ich erhalte (vorletztes Log in meiner ersten Message), scheinen mit Diseqc zusammenzuhängen. Hab mal von miniDiseqc auf Flex umgestellt und erhalte nun folgende Fehler:

Also soweit ich weiß, brauche ich ja Disecq. Hab 2 Quad LNBs mit integriertem Switch, die ich über zwei Spaun 2/1 Diseqc-Schalter verbunden hab (brauch erstmal nur 2 Anschlüsse). Funktioniert eigentlich auch alles, nur erhalte ich diese Fehler und das System wird ziemlich langsam (CPU Last)

Any ideas? Anscheinend wird da irgendwas noch nicht unterstützt.

P.S. Hab noch mal rumgespielt. Mit der Option "Optim. Diseqc" bekomm ich kein Bild, seh nur das EPG

Ja, die nova-s-plus hat offiziell noch keinen diseqc-support. Es
gibt einen patch von vadim catana, der allerdings nur mit der
kworld dvb-s 100 geht. Die nova-plus hat zusätzlich einen ISL6421
zur LNB-Steuerung drauf, da hat vadim seinen Patch erweitert, kann
es aber nicht testen. Bei mir ging diseqc damit nicht. Ich hab dann
ein paar Änderungen am Treiber vorgenommen, so dass es bei
mir jetzt mit diseqc geht, aber dafür musste ich die TONE-Steuerung
(loband/hiband switch ohne diseqc) abklemmen.

Du könntest

(1) Die beiden vadim-patches probieren (kein diseqc bei mir)
müsstest du in der linux-dvb liste suchen

(2) Meine Variante probieren

p.s. "miniDiseqc" ist im cvs-Treiber gar nicht drinnen, darum kommen
da nicht einmal Fehlermeldungen. Beim "richtigen" diseqc ist zumindest
die Funktion implementiert, die ins Log schreibt, dass sie nicht implementiert
ist

Linvdr ist mir seinen Treibern ja leider ein wenig betagter.

Über ein posting ob deine Karte Damit funzt währe Cooper und ander glücklich!
Schließlich geht es ja darum auch neuere Hardware zu nutzen!
Genau deine Karte soll dort auch zum rennen gebracht werden!

Was mich eben wundert ist die Tatsache, daß eigentlich alles wunderbar funktioniert (beide Satelliten sind auf beiden Karten verfügbar), bis eben auf die Fehlermeldungen im Log und daß das System dadurch ziemlich langsam wird. Werd aber trotzdem mal versuchen, diese irgendwie loszuwerden.

Habs mal versucht, aber erfolgreich war ich damit nicht. Die Kanäle auf Hotbird blieben schwarz.

hatte dieselben Probleme mit einer Nova-SE2. Leider war das keineswegs harmlos.

Das schlimme is, der VDR Prozess braucht bis zu 100% CPU Last durch das Problem (vermute ich). Das tut dem Prozi auch nicht besonders gut, wenn die Kiste den ganzen tag läuft.

Zumidest wird mir das Log jetzt nicht mehr vollgemüllt. Bin jetzt nicht sicher, wie ich die Diseqc Funktion testen kann. Hat jemand ne Idee?

Allerdings ist das System immernoch recht träge.

Hab mir mal die laufenden Prozesse mit "top" anzeigen lassen. Der Prozess "kdvb-fe-1" braucht teilweise 70% CPU Last, das hat sicher was mit der Nova-S zu tun...nur was?

Ich bin mal auf einen Kanal auf Hotbird. Dann hab ich mir mit femon die Signalstärke anzeigen lassen und auf die Nova-S geschlaltet (Karte2) und der Bildschirm blieb schwarz. Geht also Diseqc dann nicht?

Nu beiss mich der Hund, hab heute die Datei von hjwd nochmal Probiert und Diseqc funktioniert auf einmal. Versteh ich nicht.

Aber danke!

Bin noch am testen, den manche Kanäle auf Hotbird bleiben mit femon immernoch schwarz. Könnte aber auch an femon liegen.

So 100% scheint es noch nicht zu funktionieren. Wollte grad mal eine Testaufnahme auf "DunaTV" machen. Nach dem ich den Timer gesetzt habe und die Aufnahme gestartet war, startete sich VDR alle 30 Sekunden neu. Die Aufnahme blieb auch schwarz. Hab auch wieder die Meldungen im Log.

Komischerweise funktioniert Diseqc auf manchen Hotbird Kanälen und auf manchen (wie zum Beispiel DunaTV) nicht.

Brauchst also noch nicht testen

hab' schnell mal nachgesehen, 10815H (DunaTV) ist analog, dass kann gar
nicht gehen.

Aber auf der Nexus-S geht der Kanal doch auch Gibts sowohl analog als auch digital auf Hotbird, siehe http://lyngsat.com/freetv/Hungary.html

War auch nur ein Beispiel, gibt asuch noch andere Kanäle, wo es nicht geht. Vielleicht sind das bestimmte Frequenzen, zb ZDF auf 11054 Mhz. Oder ist das ein Probem mit meiner Anlage? Lock, Sync und Viterbi leuchten rot im femon. Kann ich mir aber nicht vorstellen, da auf der nexus alles geht, hab auch mal Kabel getauscht.

Oh... da war ich vorschnell, gibts auch digital auf 12149V.

Geh'n nur bestimmte nicht, also nur horiz/vert oder loband/hiband?
