ist das ok, das die nicht den klobigen tuner auf der karte hat???
den haben doch sonst alle mit auf der karte.

die ist ja auch noch schön schmal, das wäre interessant für flache HTPC-Gehäuse ohne Riser-Karte.
Und vom Preis ganz zu schweigen.

...genau die richtige Größe in meinen Gehäuse doch noch'ne Budget reinzuqetchen.

Auf der linuxtv-ML läuft gerade eine Diskussion darüber; Zusammengefasst: Die Reichelt-Karte sollte laufen, weil alle Twinhan Free-To-Air-Karten vom Treiber unterstützt werden.

The problem's with the Twinhan card cannot be just attributed to the card alone. It is a mix up of a lot of issues.

The Twinhan card is rebranded as so many,
Orange, Hercules, Twinhan, previously VVMER, Hama and so on, the one's that i heard about

But all these cards eventhough marketed as 1020(A), 1022(A), 1025 and so on are identified internally by names such as DST-03T DST-MOT and so on ..

It is similar for the CI based cards also. DST-CI, DSTMCI and so on.

For the FTA card all is well.

The only problem with the CI based cards, is that since it handles the Additional CI part also, the ASIC's usage internally being too high, due to an improper i2c communication on the host (The PC) and as a result sometimes the ASIC stops communicating with the host itself, and a i2c communication less than perfect results in errors.

And whatever digging into the i2c code, lands me deep into the bttv-i2c code, where i see /* FIXME's */
I am not really sure what's wrong with the i2c communication on first glance.

Now another problem (not a problem, but a discovery) the communication happens okay with buggy CI modules like the Irdeto (i have it perfectly working with that one), but when it comes to more compliant modules, the resuts are not the same.

Now somebody might think, the problem could be with the firmware, but a direct write to the registers seem to get around with the problem.

This is the state where i am now, but hope to change that situation.

OK, halte die Karten nun in meinen Händen. Reichelt liefert mit Lichtgeschwindigkeit. Komme aber heute wohl nicht mehr dazu sie auszuprobieren.

Es steht groß VP-1025 V1.4 drauf. Die Karte ist nur 6,5cm hoch (inkl. PCI Leiste) und hat auch einen LNB Ausgang.

Erkannt werden die Karten, schonmal etwas. Leider habe ich noch nicht genug SAT-Kabel.

würd mich auch brennend interessieren? Wenn die Karte unterstützt wird, kann ich die eigentlich als einzige Karte auch hernehmen (für mein DEV-System)?

ich wills auch wissen, den wenn die gehen (mit welchem dvd treiber) dann bestelle ich mir auch 2 Karten, und dann hoffe ich das ich die zusätzlich zu meinen 2 Novas mit den sharing patch einbinden kann.

Ich hab jetzt Kabel angeschlossen, aber bekomme auf beiden Karten kein Bild. Ich habe noch nicht alle Modulparameter durchprobiert, weil ich grad ganz andere VDR Probleme habe. Möglicherweise liegts auch am Switch, der ist zeitgleich ausgetauscht worden.

ich kenne mich mit den dvb treibern nicht so gut aus, weil ich nie probleme mit hatte.
Aber ich dneke mir das ist so:
Der Treiber wird für den Chip und nicht für die Karte geschreiben. Bisher war der chip halt nur auf dvb-t karten drauf, und deswegen denkt sich der treiber dvb-t o.ähn.
