[gelöst] [yaVDR-ansible 20.04] ansible bricht Installation ab

  • Hallo zusammen,

    ich habe hier noch einen alten MEDION AKOYA S4504 D DE rumstehen.

    Auf diesem hatte ich mal vor ein paar Jahren yaVDR-ansible 18.04 installiert.

    Jetzt habe ich die Festplatte ausgetauscht und möchte auf der neuen Festplatte yaVDR-ansible auf der Basis von Ubuntu 20.04 installieren.
    Ich weiß, Ubuntu 20.04 gilt als veraltet.
    Aber aufgrund des Nvidia-Treiber 340 in der Kombination mit vdr-plugin-softhddevice-ffmpeg-2.8 möchte ich gerne Ubuntu 20.04 verwenden.

    Nun habe ich das Problem, dass beim Task, bei der Installation der vdr plugins, ansible den Anker schmeißt:

    Ich habe dann vermutet, dass sich im PPA die Pakete der vdr-plugins leicht geändert haben.
    Diese habe ich dann entsprechend angepasst, aber ich lande wieder im gleichen Fehler.
    Habe ich beim anlegen von der host_vars/localhost einen Fehler gemacht oder liegt das Problem tiefer?

    Falls noch weitere Logs benötigt werden, kann ich diese gerne nachreichen!

  • Habe ich beim anlegen von der host_vars/localhost einen Fehler gemacht oder liegt das Problem tiefer?

    Ich habe dein Eindruck, dass da ein Dictionary an einer Stelle ist, die einen String erwartet - kannst du die host_vars/localhost mal als Anhang posten, damit sie die originale Kodierung und Zeichen bzw. Zeilenenden hat?

  • Hallo seahawk1986,

    anbei im Anhang die localhost.

    Ich habe diese über PuTTY mit mc am Windows-Rechner abschnittsweise kopiert.

    Mit dem Terminal unter Linux Mint hat das rauskopieren nicht geklappt.

    Der Samba-Server ist auch noch nicht eingerichtet, sonst hätte ich die Datei darüber rauskopiert.

    Aber ich hoffe, du kannst mit dem Anhang etwas anfangen, ansonsten gerne nochmals melden.

  • Zu Samba:

    Wenn das klappen soll, müssen Arbeitsgruppe von Windows-PCs und yaVDR übereinstimmen. Die Windows-PCs sind bei mir in de Arbeitsgruppe WORKGROUP. Also habe ich bei yaVDR auch eingetragen:

    samba:  workgroup: WORKGROUP

    Ich habe allerdings unter vdr_allowed_hosts mein ganzes Heimnetz freigegeben.

    Ich habe mich heute Abend nochmals mit der Ausführung des Playbooks beschäftigt.

    Schon einmal vorab: Der VDR läuft jetzt! 😀

    Bis dahin war es aber ein langer Weg.

    Ich bin jetzt hingegangen und habe die localhost neu von all kopiert und habe dann das Playbook ohne Anpassungen durchlaufen lassen.
    Diese Installation hat dann ohne Probleme geklappt.

    Nun habe ich die localhost wieder an meine Bedürfnisse angepasst.

    Anstatt im mcedit die vdr-plugin über Shift+Einfg einzutragen, habe ich diese händisch eingetragen, um eventuelle falsche Zeilenumbrüche zu vermeiden.

    Bei durchlaufen des Playbooks wurden dann bei folgenden vdr-plugins folgende Fehler gemeldet:

  • Ich fürchte die alte VDR-Version gehört zu denen, die den Permashift-Patch nicht hatten, weil der noch nicht für den VDR angepasst worden war - du kannst ein anderes PPA für den VDR nutzen - meine VDR PPAs enthalten nach Möglichkeit Pakete für focal, jammy, noble und resolute: https://launchpad.net/~seahawk1986-hotmail - zum Beispiel https://launchpad.net/~seahawk1986-h…buntu/vdr-2.8.2 würde dir den aktuellsten VDR liefern.

    Zum Wechsel erst das neue PPA hinzufügen, dann das alte PPA mittels ppa-purge entfernen - also z.B.:

  • Hallo zusammen,

    ich habe jetzt das PPA jetzt entsprechend angepasst und der Wechsel hat soweit reibungslos funktioniert.

    Das vdr-plugin-softhddevice-ffmpeg-2.8 wurde durch den Wechsel deinstalliert, aber mit der Installation von vdr-plugin-softhddevice funktioniert die Bildausgabe auch wieder. Das vdr-plugin-permashift konnte ich jetzt auch installieren.

    Als Skin verwende ich gerne das vdr-plugin-skinenigmang.

    Jetzt habe ich festgestellt, dass ab den Untermenüs von den VDR-Einstellungen (OSD, EPG, usw.) die Texte nicht mehr angezeigt werden. In den anderen Standard-Skins (Klassischer VDR, LCARS, ST:TNG-Konsolen) sind die Texte sichtbar.

    Woran könnte das liegen und wie kann man hier Abhilfe schaffen?

    Was mir auch aufgefallen ist, dass der VDR durch das Programm Magick abstürzt und neu startet.

    Bei dem letzten Absturz war ich für diesen Beitrag im OSD-Menü, um die verfügbaren Skins abzuschreiben.

    ich habe jetzt das PPA von ppa:seahawk1986-hotmail/vdr-2.8.2 auf ppa:seahawk1986-hotmail/vdr-2.6.1 gewechselt.

    Hier funktionieren das vdr-plugin-permashift und vdr-plugin-skinenigmang jetzt ohne Probleme.

    Den Titel vom Thema setze ich jetzt mal auf gelöst.
