VDR version 2.7.6 is now available at the official VDR GIT archive 

     git://git.tvdr.de 

You can also get the latest stable version with 

     git clone --branch stable/latest git://git.tvdr.de/vdr.git 

or as a tar archive with 

     http://git.tvdr.de/?p=vdr.git;a=snapshot;h=stable/latest;sf=tbz2 

The changes since version 2.7.5: 

- Fixed some misplaced 'override' keywords in the 'hello' and 'skincurses' plugins. 
- cRecording now fetches priority, lifetime and framesPerSecond from cRecordingInfo. 
  APIVERSNUM is now 30008. 
- Now forcing re-reading the info file of an ongoing recording (reported by Christoph 
  Haubrich). 
- Updated the Italian OSD texts (thanks to Diego Pierotto). 
- Enabled manually turning subtitles on/off in 'after rewind' mode. 
- Limiting timeouts to a minimum of 3ms to avoid problems with polls and waits if timeout is 0. 
- Fixed strreplace() in case the search string is empty (thanks to Stefan Hofmann). 
- Fixed automatic moving of the cursor when inputting characters with number keys (reported 
  by Stefan Hofmann). 
- Fixed updating the index when cutting a recording again (thanks to Matthias Senzel). 
- Speeded up determining the timer status of events in the Schedules menus. 
- Fixed Channel+/Channel- keys stopping replay of a recording. 
- Fixed an invalid lock sequence when pressing the Channel+/Channel- keys while in the 
 "What's on..." menu in live view. 
- Plugins need to be rebuilt.

Kompiliert schonmal auf Anhieb ohne Nacharbeit. Bin gerade dabei das für Arch mal komplett mit Plugins zu bauen.

Update AUR-Upload läuft. "vdr-plugin-plex" hab ich rausgehauen. Das hat nicht mehr gebaut und ich werde das nicht weiter analysieren.

Ich verwende den vdr unter arch mit dem paket von M-Reimer - die Plugins hole ich mir aus den jeweiligen git's und baue sie einfach
Nach dem Update auf 2.7.6 ließ sich alles problemlos bauen - allerdings kann ich mit kodi nicht mehr zugreifen über vnsi - kann das mal jemand bei sich testen?

Ich halte es für durchaus möglich das dort das Problem liegt.

VNSI übergibt eine "-1" für das Timeout und das soll für "unendlich langes Timeout" stehen. Dieses "Max" killt diese Option weil dann eine 3 draus wird.

wäre es möglich den angehängten Patch in eine der nächsten Versionen mit aufzunehmen?

Der Patch ermöglicht in der Timer-Liste das Aus- und Einblenden der inaktiven Timer mit der Taste "0", Standard ist das Anzeigen aller Timer. Manchmal ist das Ausblenden der inaktiven Timer hilfreich, wenn man viele davon hat, und man schnell eine Übersicht der nächsten aktiven Timer sehen will.

Eigentlich ein guter Punkt. So ist in der Theorie ein Deadlock möglich. Aber ich kenne mich mit dem VNSI Code auch nicht aus. Zumindest für mich gilt da: Never change a running system.

Man kann's auch übertreiben. Entweder "by the author himself" (mein Geschlecht ist der Software bekannt) oder "by the authors themselves" (falls es mehrere sind, was hier nicht der Fall ist - glaube ich zumindest ).

Anstatt LOCK_TIMERS_WRITE müsste doch auch timersStateKey.Reset() gehen, oder?
