I also tested easyvdr v5 with Softhddevice 2.0.3 with a GT218 with 1x PCIe. With above mentioned version switching is a bit faster (with only one USB DVB-S2 tuner) than with new one with Soft start without black screen. Test under 20.04 with nvidia 450

Has there been a change to the problem?

With the Audio Sync fast setting, the current git version now works for me. The VDR process is now at 20% - big thank you!

Wenn ich softhddevice mit folgenden Parametern starte:

--plugin=softhddevice -g 1920x1080+0+0 -d :0 -v cuvid -a hdmi:CARD=NVidia,DEV=0 -p hdmi:CARD=NVidia,DEV=0 -w alsa-no-close-open -w alsa-close-open-delay -w still-hw-decoder -w still-h264-hw-decoder

wird das Bild beim Verschieben von Schnittmarken nicht aktualisiert.

Ohne -w still-hw-decoder -w still-h264-hw-decoder wird das Bild beim Verschieben aktualisiert, aber wird gleich wieder schwarz.

with EasyVDR I have also tested with my system the 2.0.5 version. -> See here Link

As I wrote I got many audio/alsa: avail underrun errors. The A/V sync start change from "Schnell" to Ecact" has at the first look the errors eliminated. But after more test time sometimes the error comes back. Once in a while if a chanel change has occured.

Now I will test the version 2.0.6.

Es gibt jetzt im git 4 Sync Modes:

1. early audio, das ist das alte softsync off

2. early audio + soft sync, das ist das alte softsync on

3. early sync + fast switch, hier kommt der Ton etwas später, dafür der A/V-Sync etwas früher

4. early sync + accurate switch, hier kommt der Ton etwas später, er schaltet langsamer um, dafür fast keine drops/dupes mehr

Kannst du das bitte anhand der möglichen Einstellungen im plugin erklären? Early audio ist was genau?

I still have a request. Wouldn't it be possible to check whether the svdrp interface could be expanded. I would like to have FHEM control some optional things that control the PIP externally. It would be very helpful if you could display the PIP directly with the channel specified. For example, you could have a video doorbell appear and various other events could be triggered like this...

Is it known that softhddevice does not make screenshots with the OSD inside via the grab-function, but only from the TV picture?
