Hallo zusammen,
ich bin gerade dabei nach der Vorstellung von fnu hier ein gleiches System aufzubauen.
Der Octopus Net ist dabei an einen Spaun SMS 52403 NF Multiswitch angeschlossen und hat den FW-Stand "OctopusNet 1.0.81, FW Date 18 Apr 2017 17:32". Der Spaun-Multiswitch hat keine Quattro-Stammausgänge. Dafür ist der Multiswitch via Quattro-Eingängen an ein Quattro-LNB angeschlossen. Sollte also soweit alles passen.
Der Octopus Net findet allerdings die Tuner der Max S8 nicht. Im Webfrontend wird da - im Gegensatz zu hier - nichts angezeigt. dmesg auf der Octopus sagt:

Stellt sich also die Frage, ob ich da irgendwas falsch angeschlossen habe.
Die S8 habe ich exakt so angeschlossen mit Datenkabel und Sherlock-Stecker, wie von fnu hier dokumentiert.
Interessant ist, dass DD selbst im PDF-Handbuch zur Octopus Net Rack-Serie (Seite 5) diesen Flachbandanschluss nicht dokumentiert. Er ist auf der dort abgebildeten Platine gar nicht eingezeichnet. Im Gegensatz zu dem Bild von fnu ist mein Anschluss auf der Platine weiss. Kann es sein, dass ich da einen anderen Flachbandanschluss hernehmen müsste? Ggf. welcher wäre der Richtige?
Eine weitere Idee, wo das Problem liegen kann, wäre noch, dass ich die S8 gebraucht gekauft habe und nicht weiss, in welchem Modus sie vorher betrieben wurde. So ist für die Max S8 im Manual beschrieben, dass sie in 3 Modi betrieben werden kann. Einkabelsystem habe ich nicht und ich schließe die Max S8 ja auch nicht an ein Multiswitch mit Kaskadenausgängen an. Bliebe also m.E. nur der Modus "Quad-LNB oder 4 Multiswitch Ausgänge". Ich weiss aber auch nicht, ob das der richtige Modus für den Betrieb der S8 an der Octopus Net wäre und ob die S8 den letzten Modus in dem sie betrieben wurde irgendwo speichert.
Habt Ihr Ideen, wo ich da ansetzen müsste?
