Leider gab es ja auf der CES nichts von NVIDIA zu hören bzgl. einer Low-Power-Karte a'la GTX1030 o.ä. mit HEVC-Unterstützung und HDMI-2.x.
Aber es gibt jetzt eine weitere GTX1050 im Low Profile Format (allerdings ebenfalls mit 2 Slot-Belegung) mit "nur" 16,7cm Länge, die würde bei mir sogar gerade so in den VDR-PC passen.

Bekomme hier leider auch mit 1050 keine ruckelfreie Wiedergabe von 4K hin. Bei libreelec ging nur 1 Film ruckelfrei die anderen leider nicht. (Native 4K). Könnte es an meinem "nur" celeron liegen ? Werde am we einen i5 testen. Aber ich dachte die Rechenleistung übernimmt die NVIDIA.

Mit der Taste o auf der Tastatur kannst du dir Informationen zur CPU-Last, Bildwiederholrate von Monitor und Filmmaterial und Sachen wie Sync Errors und gedroppte Frames anzeigen lassen. Eventuell wählt KODI die falsche Refresh-Rate, was man mit dem Block für <adjustrefreshrate> in der advancedsettings.xml korrigieren könnte:

Das kann aber nicht an der Hardware liegen, wohl eher am Grafiktreiber, das der keine richtige HEVC Unterstützung hat. Oder hast Du vielleicht ein HDMI-Kabel, welches Probleme macht?
Ich glaube man braucht mindestens nvidia-370 oder sogar nvidia-374!
Welchen hast Du denn installiert?

Bei KODI kannst Du Dir ja bei der Wiedergabe über die Info-Taste, so wie es @seahawk beschrieben hast mal anschauen, wie den die Auslastung der CPU usw. ist.
Oder die allgemeinen Einstellungen zur Videoausgabe in KODI nochmals checken, nicht das da ein Fehler ist!

Nvidia unter yavdr ist die 378. 370 gleiches Problem. CPU Last muss ich gucken ... verstehe ich das richtig, dass eine Last 90-100 % dafür spricht, dass die CPU schuld am ruckeln ist ?

HDMI Kabel habe ich zwei getestes jeweilt "4k" fähig ... also 2.0a. Sowohl über AVR als auch direkt am TV. Die Frage die ich mir jetzt stelle ist halt, CPU,RAM Betriebssystem ... geht generell unter linux noch nicht ... Falls also jemand defintiv 4k am laufen hat, wäre es schön zu wissen unter welcher Konstellation ..

Das spricht dafür, dass die Hardwarebeschleunigung noch nicht funktioniert und die CPU an ihre Grenzen kommt. Ich denke da braucht man eine KODI-Version, die intern auf ffmpeg 3.1 oder besser setzt, dann sollte ffmpeg die hardwarebeschleunigte Wiedergabe von 8-Bit HEVC-Material beherrschen (also KODI 17 oder neuer). 10-Bit HEVC-Material mit VDPAU/CUDA klappt vermutlich frühestens, wenn KODI auf ffmpeg >= 3.2 setzt (für die Version wird es zumindest im Changelog erwähnt).

Was sagt denn mediainfo oder ffmpeg -i zu dem Video, das unter Libreelec funktioniert hat und was zu denen, die nicht funktionieren?

Also unter libreelec läuft die eine 8bit ohne ruckeln. Unter yavdr nicht. 10 Bit bei beiden nicht. Gerade im Test 8bit unter yavdr kodi 17 Taste o = Video Decoder sw (warum?) CPU Last bei 100% speicherauslastung 46%

Libreelec zieht eine Menge Patches für ffmpeg und KODI mit sich herum - vielleicht haben die einfach ein paar Sachen zurückportiert.

Hallo,

ich habe GF 1030 (Zotac) eingebaut und die Beta-Treiber installiert und vom mir beschriebene Probleme :
~~Unter Yavdr nutze ich Full HD, unter Kodi möchte ich die Auflösung 4096x2160 verwenden für:~~

~~- hochauflösende Bilder~~

~~- Full HD Videos.~~

~~Leider ist das Menü zimlich träge und die Full HD Videos stottern.~~

Und die Lösung war / ist ? Die eigentliche Auflösung sollte aber 3840 × 2160 Pixel sein oder ?
