Unicable LNB 8 SCR + 2 Legacy

  • Very interesting,

It has four SCR outputs. Is there any documentation available if one has to use all four outputs to be able to access all 8 SCR frequencies? Or can one maybe just use one of the four SCR ports? Otherwise, it would be more a 4x2 SCR + 2 Legacy ports LNB.

EDIT: This Youtube video shows a data sheet with 24 (!) SCR frequencies / user bands: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBIehRGAngI

EDIT2: According to the product description here it sounds that all 24 user bands are available via one or more than one SCR ouput ports of the LNB, unused ports have to be terminated : http://www.justelectronics.co.za/dstv-smart-lnb…versal-outputs/

EDIT3: I think the new keyword for those products is "Unicable II" where up to 24/32 user bands are standard: http://www.inverto.tv/guide/?p=25 / http://www.inverto.tv/products/product.php?section=1&id=323&cat=126

  • Wow, I wonder if the vendor of that box doesn't get into trouble, as Unicable® is a registered trademark by FTA/Inverto. On top 24 SCR channels cannot be EN50494, it must be EN50607 aka JESS, what FTA/Inverto sells as Unicable II® ...

It seems these Chinese cloners don't care about anything, but that says something to me about the to expected quality ...
