Netceiver Configuration guide for beginner--Please

    my Reelbox went down and is in repair. To resurrect the Netceiver stand alone for S2 live satellite viewing--which is what the AVG I was doing for me, I want to use it with YaVDR.

    Hardware
    an Gigabyte Socket 775 motherboard with 2 on board Ethernet ports
    8Gb Ram
    Intel E8500 3.16 Ghz processor
    NVIDIA GEForce GT 730 video card
    320 GB Hard drive

    Netceiver hooked up to the Reel power supply for power--LED 1 is twinkling.
    Netceiver Ethernet IPV6 connection to Eth1

    Motherboard Ethernet connection Eth 0 connected to network (DHCP)
    Software
    Clean installation
    yavdr64 0.5.0a ISO on DVD ROM.
    Can I plug in the Netceiver and have the installation automatically detect the Netceiver?
    What other updates are needed to configure YaVDR using the Netceiver?
    Steps, tips, links.

    There is no mechanism in yaVDR to detect a netceiver automatically.

    I do not own a Netceiver, but AFAIK there is the mcli-plugin (package "vdr-plugin-mcli") which allows to connect to it - perhaps someone else can tell you how to configure it properly.

    If you're using the mcli plugin, it may be necessary to disable the dynamite plugin, but I'm not sure.

    I have no experience with a netceiver either.
