  • VDR-Extensionpatch für VDR 1.7.12

    Hi there.



    I've made a separated patch for latest ExtP-NG version and RMM.


    It compiles fines and seems to works ok here. Didn't had time to test it more yet.

    By the way, there's a lot of non vital features on standard rmm patch if you want only a basic vdr with just reelbox output and no other RMM features.
    I'd like to have a light version, without dvd features, xinemediaplayers, OSDPiP, DEBUG stuff, etc.
    But it would involve to have a light version of reelbox plugin too.

  • vdr-1.7.9 rmm uptodate patch

    I would need a ts ready version of vdr has it suits better with XBMC integration. But i will wait a bit so.


    I think i will leave the eHD for a vdpau solution in a near future. I'm still considering the case.

    Hello all.


    I'm a little bit lost with finding latest reelbox patch.




    I've found the Extension patch for 1.7.9 but not rmm-ext patch provide with it.


    And there's too many change in osd.c/h to use vdr175-rmm patches.


    Could someone point me on the right direction for the latest patch we need for vdr-1.7.9 and rmm ?

    I have the same problem.


    But i have some interesting log you don'thave on your side.It seems it fails to laod some dll ( MSVCP90D.dll ). This seems to be debug dll taht can't be redistributed isn't it ?

  • hdshm x86 module for kernel 2.6.28 - compile error

    does somebody succceed to compile hdshm x86 module for kernel 2.6.28 and could help me ?


    I still have compile error:

    686: error: too few arguments to function ‘device_create’



    I've patched successfully with hdshm_c.diff found on this thread, but problem still occur.


    For the moment i can't upgrade and have to stick with 2.6.24

  • HD Extension: skinreel

    Hi


    I already reported this in an old thread, but it seem the problem still occur on the skinreel3 plugin.


    I'd like to know if you have this problem too or a solution on this isue.


    1/ First i don't have blinking text at all .
    My Makefile have not defined SKINREEL_DISABLE_ANIMATED_TEXT, but it still don't blink text.


    #SKINREEL_DISABLE_ANIMATED_TEXT = 0


    2/ more annoying, when in the osd menu i have a selection entry ,for example the one when you edit a timer, like Active ( Yes / No ).
    If i swap from Yes to No, the Yes is still writtend in background with the No overlapping it.
    It's the case for almost all settings and editable menu entry.



    So everything is unreadable if you edit things in the menu.


    3/ Another one a little hard to see if you don't have a hd output, when i move my cursor in the menu, the text entry of the previous selected line is writtend twice on the same zone, giving the font to not look proper. If you scroll down and up, then the text is ok again.


    In booth l2/ and 3/ problem commented above, i think the problem looks the same. previous text is not updated in the osd, but the new one is writtend above.

    same problm here with latest kernel 2.6.28. I've patched with related fixes found in this thread but same problm with device_create ( too few args )

    I've compiled latest reelbox plugin for a while, and now it seems setup is not recorded anymore in the setup.conf.
    I can't modify anything, it still keep the old configuration.


    Was not the case in my 3 weeks old version from the svn ( dunno the revision exactly ).


    Any tricks for this isue ?

    Hi


    I followed this thread and wanted to gratz you. It's the first time i succeed to display this picture menu with reelskin. And you succeed to debug the missing line in the menu. Thanks for this. Was having headaches with this. :) Everything looks ok now.


    I've seen a little bug introduced in reelskin3 that was not in reelskin-ng.


    It seems the current selected line is not updated when the cursor leave the selection. Text is a little bit garbled because of 2 layers of the same text at the same time.
    If you goes Left or right with your remote, then it clears the bad staying layer.


    Do you have the same behavior too ?

    I have similar problems with many mkv. It seems not only the h264 profile is responsible as i have some 4.0 & 4.1 profile that don't work.


    Some file make the xinemediaplayer ( or xine-hde plugin ) to lock up. I have to kill -9 vdr after.


    For example this one:


    Pixars.BURN-E.2008.720p.BluRay.x264


    gives after few frames:


    hde_write_audio_data failed: -1 (5)
    hd_channel_write_start timeout! 3000000 2608

    I've installed skinreelng ( svn9334 ) with vdr-1.7.0 and a reel HD extension.


    .


    I have a strange behavior. When I open the Menu, sometime it's ok, sometimes it's complety empty and sometime there's missing lines. When i scroll, the entry appear again.


    Is there any trick to solve this ?

    I've just installed my reelhd pci card ad setup vdr with everything according to the info i've found here.


    I have a nice picture over hdmi now. Really cool.
    But no sound at all yet over hdmi.


    I've setted up everything on the reelbox config, tryed pcm only, pcm+ ac3, ac3 only channels, etc ) but still no sound.


    Perhaps i missed an info here, is there such issue already reported on this forum ?



    vdr 1.7.1 extension patched.


    Edit: I've just checked with a VDR recording, and here i have sound. But nothing with live Tv.
