    Hallo VDR-Fans,


    ich habe da mal eine Frage zu dem DMA-Modus der Festplatte (für SATA - Gentoo "2008").


    Ich habe meine Pationen in reiserfs formatiert und bekomme beim Botten angezeit, das meine Festplatte nicht in DMA Modus angesprochen wird.


    Ich habe das auch mit : hdparm -d 1 /dev/hda
    überprüft.


    Ergebnis ist DMA ist aus. Ok habe ich mir gesagt evetuell wird nicht der richtige Chipsats erkannt und habe das mit lspci überprüft.

    Wie man sieht ist es ICH7.


    Dann habe ich nach folgender Anleitung einen neuen Kernel gebraten:

    nach starten des Rechners:


    modeprobe lirc_serial


    Es wird dann Angezeigt:

    Dann Starten des Deamon mit:


    /dev/init.d/lirc start


    Prüfen mit:


    ps -ef | grep -i lircd


    Es wird dann Angezeigt:

    Wenn ich jetzt z.B. irw starte gibt es keine Fehlermeldung - es werden jedoch keine FB-Befehle angezeigt.

    Hallo kovold


    Ich habe Lirc nach deiner Beschreibung installiert.


    modeprobe lirc_serial gibt zurück das ein IR-Empfänger installiert ist.


    Wenn ich jetzt mit irw testen möchte ob die FB geht, entpfängt Lirc keine
    Befehle.


    Ich habe naturloch die richtige lircd.conf für meine FB und den Entpfänger auch getestet.


    Ich stehe so ein bissel auf den Schlauch.

    Wenn ich das ISO von Linvdr brennen möchte, dann erzählt mir Nero 6 das die Blockgröße nicht stimmt. Was ist da falsch ? Mit rar kann ich ohne Probleme entpacken.

    Hallo VDR-Fans !


    Ich stehe mal wieder vor ein Rätzel. Ich versuche dieses AutoFS ans laufen zu bekommen.


    Habe schon geoogel bis meine Schwiegermutter kam un meinte ich soll mich mal wieder mehr um meine Frau kümmern.


    Also was habe ich gemacht :


    Debian Woddy installiert
    kernel-2.4.23 herunter geladen
    Im kernel autofs aktiviert ( nicht als module sondern fest )
    Da frage ich mich welche von den beiden ich nehmen muss habe erst mal autofs4 genommen.
    komaliert
    apt-get install autofs


    Dann wird unter /var/autofs
    zwei Verzeichnisse angelgt
    /misc & /net


    In etc/auto.master wir auf die Verzeichnisse verwiesen.
    In etc/auto.misc werden die Verzeichnisse angegeben die überwacht werden.


    z.B. floppy -fstype=auto,sync,nodev,nosuid :/dev/fd0


    Das scheint ja alles richtig zu sein - ABER - es geht nicht !


    Weis jemand rat ?

    Wie kann man dieses Funktion in einen Debian-VDR installieren ?

    Hallo Sergei !


    Ich habe das Problem gelöst. Es lag wohl am Kernel. Ich habe das System neu installiert. Noch mal die Kernel-Ouellen runter geladen alles neu kompaliert und nun geht es ohne Porbleme.


    Fazit : Ich habe wohl zu sehr mit menuconfig experementiert. :)


    Danke an alle die geholfen haben. Wäre so maches mal aufgeschmissen ohne eure hilfe!
