da wurde aber der widerstand > 100° heiss. funktioniert hats genauso. das stimmt.
und dann hab ich mir ueberlegt ob ich nen 2W widerstand einbau (der auch heiss wird) oder ob ich es gleich "richtig" mach.
waere froh wenn es irgendwo 7V oder 9V oder so zum abgreifen gaebe. dann wuerde ich den strom von dort nehmen. hast nen tip?

nachdem mir das problem bekannt vorkam, und ich ausserdem immer wieder restarts von vdr hatte kaum dass ein timer startete, hab ich mir gedacht das mach ich auch.

was ich dabei gelernt habe:
.) ein 100mA typ 7805 reicht mal nicht sollte schon 1A sein. oder 2A wie ich es jetzt verbaut habe.
.) kuehlung vom spannungswandler ist unerlaesslich
.) karte geht um WELTEN besser als vorher. signalstaerke ist fix und huepft nicht mehr wie wild rauf und runter
.) werde meine auf 4mb gemoddete primary karte auch noch umbauen.

ich probier hier schon ne weile rum aber so richtig 100% optimal sieht das nie aus.
imho sind es 40 spalten mit 23 zeilen (bzw 25 zeilen)
wenn nun jedes zeichen 8x8 pixel hat sollte das dann 320x200 pixel gross sein. ist es aber nicht 
wer weiss was fuer werte ideal sind?

kann es sein dass du eine asus v3000 vor dir liegen hast ? 
hab ich auch grad ausgegraben. die chips haben auch ein D hinten dran. weiss allerdings nicht was das zu bedeuten hat. muss mal ein profi seinen senf dazu abgeben.
alternativ sind die chips auch noch auf eine matrox g400. (dort allerdings keine hyundai sondern andere - weiss grad nicht welche type)

koennen wir gerne machen bloss im mom keine zeit.
komm mal im #linux-dvb auf efnet oder im #xbox-linux vorbei dann koennen wir quatschen....
und: ich will nicht HDTV material abspielen sondern nur eine DVB stream. die skalierung auf 1280x720 sollte imho ja in hardware (=graka) passieren.

hallo leute
also ich hab auch mit ein paar kleineren problemen VDR auf der xbox mit xebian 1.0.2 installiert.
dazu das xine und streamdev plugin. (softdevice bekomm ich leider nicht kompiliert - wenn das wer schafft bitte bei mir melden).
dann starte ich den streamingserver auf der vdr kiste und nachher vdr mit xine und streamdev-client plugin. vdr startet, ich kann die dvd-fb verwenden, die ich vorher auf vdr angelernt habe, und kann im menu navigieren. auch ein bild sehe ich. bloss ist die cpu auslastung ueber 100%. also natuerlich nur defacto. soll heissen der prozessor kratzt am limit.
was sich auch ganz klar bemerkbar macht weil die wiedergabe extrem ruckelt, und nach ner weile xine aussteigt mit der meldung dass wohl was mit der quelle nicht stimmen kann.
hinzufuegend muss man vielleicht sagen dass ich die xbox an nem beamer in der aufloesung 1280x720 (also 720p) betreibe. kann es sein dass der 700 mHz cpu das einfach zu viel ist?
wie sind eure erfahrungen mit vdr, xine und streamdev plugin?

kurze frage: wie lange dauert es bei euch bis ein bild angezeigt wird?
ich habe hier ein 100mbit netz wo ich die bilder per nfs hole und nen amd xp2000.
bis ein bild kommt dauert es fast 10s. drehen ect wieder 10s.
vom 3x3 bild ganz zu schweigen. ich dachte schon vdr ist abgekratzt bis dann nach ner ewigkeit das bild endlich erschienen ist.
muss dazu sagen dass ich das 0.0.9 rc3 (auf vdr 1.2.6) das erste mal verwende daher damit keine erfahrung habe.
es gab mal von alesan ein plugin das auf meinem amk k6-400 doppelt so schnell war. woran kanns liegen?

hat sich ja gestern in der ml geklaert.
ich habe 2x ff cards. also musste ich das prim device auf 3 stellen damit er in den transfermodus ging. dann aber: geiles bild am beamer.
bloss macht das plugin dann leider nicht das was ich wollte.
ich wollte parallel mit dem tv per svideo am tv schauen und per vga am beamer. das geht aber jetzt eben nicht weil ich wieder nur entweder oder schauen kann weil ich das prim device (das mit dem osd) aendern muss.
vielleicht findet da ja mal wer ne loesung.

jetzt hab ich ein ./autogen.sh gemacht, das brav durchlief, und dann folgendes:

hallo leute
also nachdem ich mich damit auch schon ne weile beschaeftige:
so einfach ist die sache wirklich nicht. was ich schon probiert habe:
.) fbtv
.) tvtime
.) xawtv
fbtv ist am einfachsten, allerdings von der qualitaet her zu vergessen.
tvtime setzt auf Xv auf. dh man braucht nen guten treiber fuer die graka und nen schnellen proz wenn man deinterlacen will (und das ist ja der grund fuer die ganze show
scaling macht die graka. die qualitaet ist ok. ist nicht umwerfend aber man kann damit leben. es ergeben sich aber neue probleme:
.) dvd-rc10 braucht sauviel proz. da bleibt nix mehr fuer tvtime ueber. nicht mal mit nem 2ghz rechner. kann aber umgangen werden indem man auf ne fruehere rel geht.
.) divx ist nimmer anzuschauen. dafuer und tvtime reicht die proz leistung einfach nimmer. und wenn man dann das ding leise bekommen will - keine chance
.) dvds die eigentlich progressive material enthalten nutzen uns genau garnix. der grosse vorteil geht komplett verloren. erklaerung: vdr spielt die dvd ab und die dvbs karte gibt ein interlaced bild aus. tvtime grabbt /dev/video (also interlaced) und deinterlaced das dann um es an den vga weiterzuschicken. also doppelt gemoppelt und damit zu vergessen.
also: noch ne menge denkarbeit fuer uns drinnen. war das vor 3 jahren noch alles einfach als man einfach den tv ueber ein s-video kabel angehaengt hat und vdr von dvd noch nicht mal was ahnte
