Good morning all.
The setup completed successfully in the end. It took 6 and a half hours.
Obviously the Atom CPU was the bottle-neck.
Thanks to all.

Dear Seahawk,
Thank you.
I am going to leave it overnight and will report back in the morning.
Best regards.
Hi all,
I have started a new fresh install.
Almost 2 hours later here is the progress:

Is it normal?
Hi Stefan.
Yes, the network is connected.
I didnt knew the alt+F4 option up to this moment so no logs have been examined.
Best regards,
Alexander
Dear Lars,
Thank you for your rapid reply.
I am using DD-Cine S2 card.
The last time I have left the installation for 3 hours before I gave up.
Have not tried Alt+F4 option but will do in the evening and report back.
Thanks once again.
Dear all,
I am trying to install YAVDR 0.6.2 on an Atom based motherboard wih 32gb SSD.
The installation is not completing because it hangs on 15% preceed.
Tried a number of times, different USB flash drives, but it hangs at the same level.
I have no ideas what to try next.
Any help will be appreciated.
Best regards
TVHeadend is not always an option.
For an example there are still people (decreasing number) using netceivers.
To use netceiver with TVH one needs also an SatIP backend and this is where the things start being complicated. VDR (even though older version) is much more acceptable solution.
I just hope that a developer with the needed knowledge and free time will continue keeping the VNSI alive.
Sad news indeed. For what I understand, it is just a matter of a major change in Kodi and then VNSI will be dead.
According to this post VNSI plugin won't be maintained anymore.

The author is looking for developers who would like to take over the maintaining process.
Hey cinfo,
Thank yo SO much.
Finally it is working now.
This command was new to me. "setup-box"
Even scanning is working now and the progress is displayed.
Also magically the telnet on port 2002 is working as well.
Once again thanks for your hard work and your dedication to the leftovers of the Reelbox community.
Regards.
Dear cinfo,
one last question regarding this OSD issue:
I can now successfully telnet on the port but the keyboard presses are not bringing OSD at all.
This OSD is very important for me because I switched to headless server and I can scan channels only with OSD, as I am not good in console VDR action at all.
Could you please confirm you have OSD from VDR in telnet at port 2002?
Do I need any additional plugin enabled to have OSD via telnet?
Thanks for your efforts.
yes,
I am on the latest version. The old version was working fine.

Hello,
Thank you for the new image.
I have a small problem with it:
When I try to telnet to port 2002 so that I can make the configuration, there is no user interface on the port.
Although I can successfully log in no options becomes available and the VDR menu is not available.
