Servus gggggg,

sorry, bin bei Weiterentwicklung so gut wie raus.

Bei mir laufen nach wie vor mehrere AVGs mit den aufgerüsteten Mainboards und gemeinsamer HD+ Karte, habe aber keinen NUC in den Regelbetrieb übernommen.

Sky eh nur noch über die SkyQ Boxen...

bin etwas spät dran, versuche aber gerade vdrtranscode zu installieren...

bei "dpkg -i bm2lts-vdtranscode-0.04-1.deb"

bekomme ich leider folgende Fehlermeldung:

habe inzwischen in allen relevanten Boxen 64 Bit CPUs...

Allerdings benutze ich immer noch die HD Extension.

Bin da basteln ja schon immer mal gewohnt, musste ich bei den letzten Images auch schon meistens machen.

Ist die HD Extension Unterstützung grundsätzlich noch vorhanden ?

Sonst noch was zu beachten wenn ich das z.B. auf dem KTQ77 von Kontron installieren will ?

Bad heat management for the HDE can also be reason for dropouts in the picture.

Therefore I meanwhile use in every Box (no more HDDs...) an additional 80mm Fan to blow on the HDE heat sink.

HDE orange light means that the linux System on the HDE is not running ok.

During the start phase the light on the HDE will be orange, when the HDE linux is running it should go back to green.

You can only have picture from HDE when green light is on.

kommt darauf an wie die HD+ decodierst, mit SC (hier nicht unterstützt) hatte ich die gleichen Probleme auf dem RTLHD Transponder.

Sat1/Pro7 Transponder funktionierte noch einwandfrei.

Auf RTLHD Transponder Absturz auch unter BM2LTS 2.90...

Habe HD+ nun auch auf One4All im CAM-Slot umgestellt.

Kein Absturz mehr, aber nur Sat1/Pro/ Transponder einwandfrei.

RTLHD Transponder hat nach umschalten erst mal 10 Minuten brutale Aussetzer, danach läuft es dann ohne Aussetzer.

Keine Ahnung ob und wie das behoben werden kann.

The way used to make this the standard kernel was to edit file

fine that it works now.

If I remember right, I had to change the kerne using 2.95.

I used an older kernel, (please don't ask for details, too long ago :-)), then it worked...

A long time ago, I do not fully remember...

Basically you have to create a bootable USB stick to be able to run bf.exe from the stick.

Then also the other files go to a folder on the stick, so you can use them running Bf.exe from the stick.

I used freeDOS like referenced above...

A broken cable would not cause the board to beep.

All peripherals are just connected by RS232, that would never cause the board to beep, it would just not work.

Go to the manual of the board and look out for the beep signals...

Could also be the Display has died, or at least try to flash it.

Standby and Reel Multmedia is not flashing, if I am right you have to press the button right beside the On/Off and then in parallel turn on the Power Switch.

The red Led would light up, this is signalling that the Display is flashed again.

Are you sure that you connected everything the same way when you restarted the board first time.

Worst case you can kill the RS232 converter on the small power platine if you do wrong...

If at the start of the box it lasts 2 Minutes to get the display in the frontpanel, that is usually

1. either a problem with the Network Interface (are you using the right Interface ? fitting to the file "interfaces"?), so that the Netceiver is not found

2. or that the recordings are not found...

I told you, you will have to adopt all files to your setup...

static ip will not solve the frontpanel issue, my interfaces already sent to you shows how to set up a static tp at eth1...

Currently I cannot compare COM1, as the box is closed and in an enclosure...

Just compare pinning of COM in the AVG2 Kontron users manual with the KTQ87 users manual.

This is how I managed that...

You need to be careful with that if done wrong that could damage the COM driver on the mainboard.

Concerning the Fan I am using the CPU FAn connector of the KTQ87 and then you can adjust the speed in the BIOS.

the frontpanel connector is used the same way as with the avg2 board, it is the same pinning.

try this for the sbin/dev_frontpanel.sh:

at least that is working for my KTQ87...

For the fan just go to the BIOS of the board, there you can set lower speeds...

Wichtig ist auch daran zu denken , daß zwei unabhängige Satellitenleitungen vorhanden sein müssen...

Satellitenleitungen durchschleifen ist nicht ...

Hallo zusammen,

ich gehe davon aus, daß es sich hier um eine AVG mit internem Netceiver handelt...

Da wird dann bei jedem einschalten ja der Netceiver neu gebootet und muß fertig sein, wenn der vdr nach dem Netceiver sucht.

Meine drei NCV laufen alle 7/24 durch, da gibt es das Problem nicht...

Es könnte bei knappem Timing helfen, in den GRUB für BM2LTS einen sleep von einigen Sekunden einzubauen, dann hätte der Netceiver erst mal ein wenig mehr Zeit um fertig zu werden.

Wenn die Led gelb leuchtet dann hat die HDE Karte nicht richtig gebootet.

Wenn das immer wieder auch nach Neustart passiert, dann erst mal die Karte aus und wieder einstecken um evtl. Kontaktprobleme auszuschliessen.

Sollte Problem danach nicht behoben sein, dann mal unter /usr/share/reel/hdimage nachschauen ob da die linux.bin immer noch liegt.

Die wird nämlich beim starten auf die HDE übertragen und damit die Karte gebootet.

Falls alles nix hilft könnte die HDE eine hau weg haben.

So eine habe ich auch schon hier rumliegen.

Ersatz gibt es immer mal wieder gebraucht in der Bucht.
