Hallo!
Bevor sich noch jemand einen Wolf sucht:

Ax::Vdr::OsdMenuBase<cOsdMenu>::clearStatusMsg() wird jetzt auch mit O2 wegkompiliert.

Bei Optimierung mit "-O2" wird das Symbol nicht gefunden - mit "-O1" lässt sich das Plugin wieder starten.

Hier seit Umstellung auf trusty mit gcc version 4.8.2 (Ubuntu 4.8.2-19ubuntu1)

Hallo!
Ich hoffe es passt einigermassen hier rein..

xineliboutput über vdpau funktioniert ganz hervorragend - Vielen Dank für eure Arbeit.

Womit ich noch Probleme habe ist der Übergang vom schnellen Vorlauf zur normalen Wiedergabe bei HD-Aufnahmen.

Schneller Vorlauf funktioniert, aber wenn man auf Wiedergabe zurückgeht läuft der Vorlauf nach.
Erst ein Beenden/Start der Wiedergabe gibt wieder eine Wiedergabe mit "einfacher" Geschwindigkeit.

Nach entfernen der Kommentarzeichen bei den Zeilen 792,793 der Datei xineliboutput/device.c ist dieses Verhalten verschwunden und (nicht nur) der WAF liegt wieder bei 150%

Ich möchte mich gerne bedanken. Die Karte läuft mit FW 18 und UFOs Treibern absolut störungsfrei - der SMP-Workaround ist bei mir schon seit Januar (ungefähr) nicht mehr nötig.

Es wurde "nur" das System von lenny auf squeeze aktualiesiert, der vdr ist selbst kompiliert - es ist kein ct-VDR!
Das "assertion failed" tritt erst dann auf, wenn ich das graphtft-fe starte - das Plugin selbst ist erstmal ok.

Auch eine neue ImageMagick (6.6.7-7 statt 6.6.0 von lenny) hat keine Besserung gebracht.

UFO hatte ich bereits angetriggert - die Firmware rückt er wohl nicht einfach so raus.

Aber egal - irgendetwas ist im Treiber ngene/stv090x/stv6110x nicht ganz nicht "SMP-fest".
Ich stelle mich auch gerne als Tester zur Verfügung.

Bei mir waren es nicht nur ein paar Klötzchen - es kam kein Bild mehr zustande. Ton war auch nur noch digitaler Schrott.

Oft half ein Umschalten auf einen anderen Kanal oder eine andere Karte (mit dem fmeon.Plugin Pfeil links/rechts).

Auf jeden Fall läuft die Karte im Moment mit noapic nosmp numcpus=1 jetzt einwandfrei.

Hallo!
Mich nervt seit vielen Monaten die Mystique DVB S2 Dual Karte.
Empfang auf beiden Frontends ist gut. Nach Umschalten oder Aufnahmestart kommt beim VDR oft nur Unsinn an. Zumindest wird über xineliboutput nur noch grau/grüner Klötzchensalat ausgegeben und aus dem SPDIF kommt Hochtöner-tötendes Gequietsche. Eine alte Budget und Premium Rev 2.3 laufen problemlos.

Abhilfe brachte nun der Kernelparameter "nosmp".

mit dem vdr-1.7.0 und aktuellem refactoring-Treiber (v4l-dvb-av7110-refactoring-f2969d36702b) auf Kernel 2.25.1 habe ich beim Ausschalten des Atmolights einen Segfault. Hat da jemand eine Idee?

Wenn du noch einen Parallel-Port hast:
Probiers doch mal mit einer Diode zwischen dem ATX-Einschalter und dem Druckerport. Damit schaltet er sicher aus. Anleitung ist im nvram-Paket. Dies war bei einem Board die letzte Möglichkeit ein Sicheres Aufwachen mit Poweroff hinzubekommen...

Test-PC 1 kann die DVD-RW nicht mit dd lesen, und Xine meldet:

So. Wir haben getestet:
Kommerzielle DVD und "ältere" selbstgebrannte lassen sich problemlos ansehen.
Die DVD um die es in diesem Thread ging, ist vom neuen burn 0.0.10 erstellt worden.
Ich bin ratlos...

Hallo,
die von burn 0.0.10 erstellten ISOs lassen sich problemlos mit dem DVD-Plugin im "DVD-Wechsler-Plugin" anschauen. Das Image lässt sich mit "growisofs -dvd-compat -Z /dev/hdc=Dienstags\ bei\ Morrie.iso" auf eine DVD-RW brennen. Mounten kann ich die DVD auch - kein Problem. Ein Image von der DVD mit dd wieder auf die Platte lässt sich auch im DVD-Wechsler anschauen.

Aber wenn ich die DVD direkt ansehen möchte, dann kommt "Fehler beim Öffnen der DVD" und im syslog:
