    recherchiere nun schon seit ein paar Tagen, weiß das andere Leute das gleichen Problem hatten. Bei mir läuft die FB immer noch nicht mit allen Tasten.


    Ich habe ein Xbmc-live 10.0 installiert. Im Rechner steckt eine Hauppauge DVB-T-Karte drin. Ich möchte xbmc mit der Hauppauge-Fenrbedienung bedienen.


    Nummerntasten, Start/Stop etc. gehen, nur die wichtigen Tasten wie Back, Menü oder Home nicht. Habe bereits einige Dutzend Foreneinträge ausprobiert, aber das Teil will einfach nicht. Anscheinend ist X11 schneller als der lircd und definiert die FB als keyboard. Ich kann xbmc nämlich auch dann mit der FB steuern, wenn lircd gar nicht gestartet ist.


    Wie schaffe ich es, X11 die FB als keyboard abzugewöhnen und lirc als FB-Treiber zu definieren?

    Habe seit 1998 unterschiedliche Rechner im Keller laufen gehabt und keine Probleme. Die beiden aktuellen laufen seit 2002 bzw. 2003 ohne nennenswerte Störungen.

    habe seit einiger Zeit vdr 1.4.0 unter SuSE 10.0 im Einsatz.


    Einige der Aufnahmen lassen sich nicht auf MPEG-Format umkodieren. Eine manuelle Ausführung von vdrsync.pl zeigt, dass er mitten im demuxen mit der Meldung "Found no ts at GOP start" abbricht. Dieser Fehler tritt sowohl bei vdrsync-0.1.2.2.pl als auch vdrsync-0.1.2.2-dev2.pl auf.


    Hat jemand Abhilfe? Ich würde die Filme nämlich gerne auf DVD brennen.

    habe es gerade geschafft den wapd 0.8 (vdr 1.3.43) zu installieren/konfigurieren. Der Zugriff vom Internet aus klappt von meinem Nokia 6680 aus, aber auf den dargestellten Seiten fehlt die grau hinterlegte Kopfzeile "VDR" sowie alle Buttons. Kann den VDR somit von remote aus nicht bedienen.


    Die Einstellungen/Optionen des Nokia 6680 habe ich schon mal abgeklappert, aber nichts gefunden.


    Kennt jemand den Effekt? Hat jemand eine Idee/einen Tipp?

    "make all" des vdr generiert das binary vdr, aber die Plug-Ins wollen nicht. Im Makefile ist doch ein Verweis auf ../DVB drin. Dieses Verzeichnis existiert bei mir nicht, da ich SuSE 10.0 mit Kernel linux-2.6.13-15 einsetze und laut INSTALL dieses Verzeichnis bei Kernel 2.6.x nicht benötigt wird. Aber irgendwas fehlt mir doch...

    Kann jemand helfen?

    Die Einschaltung des DMA-Modus hat schon mal eine deutliche Verbesserung gebracht, es gibt kaum noch Aussetzer und synchron ist der Streifen auch.


    Der nächste Schritt wird jetzt die Verlagerung des /video-Verzeichnisses von der 40 GB auf die neuere 160 GB Platte sein.

    Das dies tatsächlich meine Video-Platte ist, ist Absicht, aber dass der DMA-Modus ausgeschaltet ist, ist Zufall.


    Habe den DMA-Modus jetzt mal per hdparm -d1 /dev/hdd eingeschaltet und werde heute Nachmittag (während ich Arbeite) schon mal 'ne Probeaufnahme laufen lassen.

    Es handelt sich um einen Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 1.70GHz mit 512 MB RAM, 3 Festplatten (40 GB, 40GB, 160 GB). DVB-Karte ist eine Hauppauge Nova-T digital terrestrial ( mod 928 ). Server steht im Keller, aktive Zimmerantenne im Dachstudio.

    ich habe auf meinem Internet-Router unter SuSE 10.0 den VDR 1.3.41 in Betrieb genommen. Die ersten Aufnahmen waren nicht ruckfrei (Aussetzer, Artefakte, asynchron ...),weder bei der Version 1.3.41 noch bei der mitgelieferten.


    Ich habe dem vdr daemon versuchsweise mittels "nice -n -3" eine etwas höhere Priorität als 0 gegeben, aber die Aufnahmen weisen immer noch Aussetzer auf. Auf dem Server laufen auch andere Daemon wie Apache, sendmail etc.


    Sind störungsfreie Aufnahmen auf einem Server mit geringer Auslastung möglich?
    Welche Prioritäten sollte ich wie vergeben?

    na ja, noch ein Zusatz:


    Ein anderes Posting hat mich auf die Idee gebracht doch mal die channels.conf aus der lauffähigen ctVDR Partition in meine SuSE 10.0 Partition zu übernehmen. Damit sind die Meldungen im Log weg und der VDR läuft.


    Die Frage bleibt aber: Fehlen mit Patches bzw. wie muss ich die Karte in YaST2 spezifizieren, damit's direkt klappt?

    versuche gerade meine neue Hauppauge Nova-T DVB-T (90002) unter SuSE 10.0 mit dem vdr (version 1.2.6 oder 1.3.39) zu nutzen. Mit kaffeine funktioniert die Karte reibungslos (sowohl Kernel 2.6.13 als auch 2.6.15), unter ctVDR 4.5 mit vdr 1.3.37 und Kernel 2.6.15 auch, aber unter SuSE 10.0 (Kernel 2.6.13 oder 2.6.15) erhalte ich nach gestartetem vdr im log im Sekundentakt Meldungen:

    Fehlt mir da ein Patch oder habe ich die Karte in YaST2 falsch eingetragen?

    ich habe eine neue Hauppauge Nova-T DVBT (Version 90002) und möchte diese unter SuSE 10.0 nutzen. Die automatische Hardware-Erkennung liefert keine funktionsfähige Konfiguration. In Yast2 ist die Karte unter Hauppauge nicht zu finden; unter "andere Anbieter" gibt es diverse Möglichkeiten. Da ich nun schon eine ganze Weile rumprobiert habe, werde ich jetzt faul und frage einfach:


    - Was genau muss ich in Yast2 angeben (step by step) um diese Karte zu konfigurieren?


    - Reicht der mitgelieferte Kernel 2.6.13-15 oder muss es der 2.6.15 sein?
