Hallo alle miteinander,
ich habe seit Anfang des Jahres meinen VDR laufen, und der tut seine Sache auch ganz ordentlich. Nun will ich den kleinen erweitern und zwar so, dass er auch automatisch aufwacht, wenn ein Timer gesetzt ist. Und was finde ich da? NVRAM
Klasse habe ich mir gedacht, habe nvram installiert, konfiguriert und geschaut, was passiert. Ergebnis: Er schreibt die Zeit vom nächsten Timer ganz brav ins BIOS, nur ausschalten kann ich den VDR nicht mehr. Der Rechner bleibt ohne Bild an. Das einzige was bisher geholfen hat war über eine SSH-Verbindung ein shutdown -h now (od. init 0, für schreibfaule), dann ging er auch aus. Bis zum nächsten Timer, dann wacht der Rechner auf und zeichnet ganz brav auf.
In VDR-Wiki habe ich gelesen, dass es ein Workaround gibt, dass man jedoch ab ctvdr4 nicht mehr braucht. Oder hat jemand andere Erfahrungen und kann mir bestätigen, dass ich über den Workaround zu einem sich selbst abschaltenden Rechner komme?

Die letzte Zeile ergibt sich, wie schon geschrieben, aus einem
So, ich hoffe, mir kann jemand weiter helfen. Ansonsten werde ich wohl einen Cronjob einrichten müssen
