Endlosschleife "saa7146: un-/register extension 'DVB'"

  • Hallo Welt!!


    Bin Newbie in der Linux und VDR-Welt und kämpfe mich seit gestern stundenlang mit dem Projekt "c't-VDR und Hauppauge PVR-350 (TV-Out/Scart)" ab...


    Mein System im Schnelldurchlauf:
    eine PVR-350 als einziges Ein-/Ausgabemedium!
    Ein (mehrfach) neu installiertes System vom aktuellen c't-Download-Iso, "auto" installiert, bei der Setup-Wahl der channels.conf verschiedene Möglichkeiten ausprobiert (wo man keins/dbv-s/dvb-c/dvb-t auswählen kann).
    APT-Get für neuesten Kernel, AnalogTV, PVR-350 durchgeführt, Firmwaredateien für IVTV kopiert, bastel hier, bastel da...Channels.conf mit Daten für Analog-TV gefüllt (copy&paste aus dem Web)...


    Hab es nach endlosen Googleleien nun auch geschafft, das IVTV anscheinend ganz OK ans laufen zu kriegen - immerhin schaltet der Fernseher nun nicht mehr auf "kein Signal", sondern bringt ein schwarzes Bild... (so kann man sich auch über Kleinigkeiten freuen)
    Es passiert aber nichts weiter, auch nicht wenn ich M für Menü drücke, es scheint noch nicht zum letzten Durchbruch gekommen zu sein...


    Nach dem END INIT IVTV hängt die Alt-F8-Konsole in einer Endlosschleife mit den Meldungen:

    Oder bin ich da ganz auf dem Holzweg?


    Gebt mir doch bitte mal einen Tipp, WAS das ist, WARUM es auftreten könnte, WIE ich es wegkrieg und WELCHE Infos/Logs ich euch ggf für weiteren Support zur Verfügung stellen müsste...

    JA, mir sind die Fehlermeldungen im Syslog aufgefallen - aber welche sind davon existenziell wichtig und welche sind rein "informativ"?

    Ich würde sagen dass Syslog ist schon das richtige.


    Allerdings hab ich da die Ursache nun auch nicht gesehen. Diese DVB-Register/Unregister-Schleife hatte ich auch schon das eine oder andere mal. Meist war dann die channels.conf defekt (stand dann aber auch im syslog, das die channels.conf einen Fehler in Zeile soundso hatte). Bei dir hab ich jetzt nicht dergleichen gefunden.



    Evtl. könnten diese Zeilen ursächlich sein:

    Die ganzen anderen Fehler der setup.conf bekommst du übrigens weg, indem du die überflüssigen Daten aus der setup.conf entfernst. Die machen aber in der Regel nichts.

    Den Fehler des LIRC krieg ich nicht weg - scheint aber auch nicht weiter zu stören, da er augenscheinlich nen Keyboard-Treiber für die Menüsteuerung nimmt...Den Rest hab ich mal rausgenommen...


    Der Tipp mit der channels.conf war schonmal nicht schlecht, da hatte ich anscheinend ziemlichen Murks drin. Hab mir jetzt zum Testen eine einkanalige gebastelt und kann die ARD per cat /dev/video0 als Mpeg mit Bild und Ton speichern - der Empfang scheint also zu klappen...
    TV bleibt aber immer noch schwarz (beim Initialisieren hab ich mal gaaaaanz kurz zwei wirre Farbstreifen drauf)


    Anbei mal eine aktuelle Syslog, vielleicht gibt die ja (neue) Aufschlüsse...


    - hatte im Wiki irgendwo gelesen, daß man beim Analogtv/IVTV/PVR-350 noch "einen Framebuffer aktivieren muss, was standardmäßig nicht der Fall ist"...kann das was spannendes sein und wenn ja - wie geht das?

  • Ok, hab den Durchbruch geschafft:


    es fehlte der modprobe ivtv-fb, dann kommt nach einigen Sekunden Bild, Ton, Menü etc...


    Aber ich seh schon - jetzt beginnt das Finetuning...Die MPEG-Qualität des reinen TV-Bildes ist recht bescheiden und großgeklotzelt, aber einfach und Plug&Play kann ja jeder...

    konntest du dein Problem mit der Endlosschleife mittlerweile lösen? Wenn ja, gib mir doch bitte mal einen Tipp, ich habe das selbe Problem wie du und komm nicht dahinter.


    Mein System: Ich habe den c't VDR 4.5 heruntergeladen und installiert. In meinem Rechner steckt eine PVR350. Den ivtv 0.4.2 Treiber sowie das pvr350- und pvrinput-Plugin habe ich installiert. Nach dem Start gelange ich in die gleiche Endlosschleife, die du auch hattest/hast.


    Vielleicht helfen ja auch die letzten Zeilen meiner /var/log/messages:



    Also wenn du oder irgend jemand, der mitliest ne Idee hat? Ich bin um jeden Hinweis dankbar.

    also bei meinem konkreten problem (ich weiss nicht, ob die schleifen letztendlich die gleichen sind) hat der folgende befehl geholfen (gib den einfach mal so während der schleife von ner anderen konsole aus ein):


    modprobe ivtv-fb


    bin kein linux-kenner, damit wird wohl einfach irgend ein framebuffer-teil des ivtv als modul in den speicher geladen...
    danach ging die schleife weg, das prog lief durch, ich hatte bild und war nen schritt glücklicher.


    ok, es ist mir wegen unwissenheit nicht gelungen, diesen befehl dauerhaft einzubinden, hab ihn nach jedem reboot immer manuell neu eingegeben.
    wollte diesbezüglich aber nicht großartig weiterrecherchieren, da ich gerade noch in der findungsphase zum "perfekten" htpc bin und mir im rahmen der marktsichtung danach eh erstmal knoppmyth auf den testrechner geschmurgelt hab.


    falls dieser befehl aber hilft, wird sicher hier jemand kurz mal schreiben können, wie man ihn fest einbindet, würd mich auch mal interessieren...

    so langsam komme ich dem Fehler auf die Spur... Wenn du das Problem mit einem ivtv-fb gelöst hast, dann sollte ich das eigentlich auch können. Aber:


    Ich bekomme die Meldung, dass es diesen Befehl nicht gibt!


    Ergo, hab ich wohl irgendwo was vergessen, auch wenn ich dachte, dass ich den ivtv 0.4.2 ordentlich durchinstalliert habe (Fehlermeldungen gab's jedenfalls kein). Muss da also noch mal schauen, oder kann mir jemand einen Tipp geben, an welcher Stelle der Installation ich was vergessen haben könnte? Danke nochmal für den Tipp,

    vielen Dank für den Tipp mit ivtv-fb. Nachdem ich noch einmal eine Nacht drüber geschlafen hatte, war mir klar, dass es sich dabei um ein Modul handeln muss. Mit modprob ging das ganze dann auch. Und in /etc/modules eingetragen brauche ich mich darum nun auch nicht mehr kümmern. Jetzt rennt der kleine! :)


    Jetzt muss ich nur noch die Fernbedienung der Hauppage PVR350 zum laufen bekommen. Aber dazu habe ich mich im Forum noch nicht umgeschaut, das kommt jetzt an die Tagesordnung. Prio lag jetzt erst einmal auf einem laufenden VDR!
