OK I am back working on lirc again.

Therse are the only buttons that work with my remote and the lircd.conf that comes from the lirc site.

mode 2 gives feedback from all buttons on the remote.

I can record all the buttons except vol+ and vol- (a remote that doesn't control volume is as useful as...)

OK so I got lircd running and vdr-xine went into learning mode.

Ipushed several keys and nothing happened. Then a key press was detected. The UP key was asked for and never detected...

Why did it work in Fedora Core 1 then? I just did irrecord and it worked.

OK I think I have it traced to a serial port issue.
