  • Hmm, some misunderstandings from your side in this thread..

"In our region we have 2 virtual channels (serivices) on physical transponder."

    " logical splitting of channels"

Using Multi-PLP means two or more different physical transponders share a frequency. That means they may have different range of reception (maximum distance to transmitter), if using different set of other parameters (modulation, guard, transmission, ..)

There are also many different types of how DVB-T2 is used,

    - single plp (all data tramsmitted on one PLP: Audio, Video, Channel Information,..)

    - multiple plp (as before, but now two different sets of params and Audio,Video, SI-Tables)

    - multiple plp with common plp (at the common PLP SI-Tables/Channel data is send, Services like Audio/Video on the others)

    - DVB-T2 lite or DVB-T2

The second thing is, that you only give smallest pieces of information.

    - we dont know, where you are trying to receive. Somewhere in Rus.

    - you dont post VDRs log files

    - you dont post your complete channels.conf

    - you dont post dvbv5_scan output or the others scan utils output.

Anyway, a good try could be to create a channels.conf with just two lines and check if the missing channels are found by VDRs channel update if trying to switch those (by purpose invalid) channels.

    Code
    PLP_0:610000:B8S1P0:T:0:5000:5001:0:0:0:0:0:0
    PLP_1:610000:B8S1P1:T:0:6000:6001:0:0:0:0:0:0
  • Wirbel thanks for your participation. You are right, I am somewhere in Russia)

I can send everything you asked in the next weekend only, unfortunately. Of course, I will try config specs for the "channels.conf" you sent.

What I have now. As I wrote the programm koffein is working fullfine. I have took data form there for an one channel from plp1 and I did decode it to the channels.conf file. So nothing helps.

    what I have from t2scan:

    CHAN1;РТРС:610000:B8D0G16S1T8Y0P1:T:27500:1021=27:1022=rus@3:1024:0:1020:8835:2:0

    CHAN2;РТРС:610000:B8D0G16S1T8Y0P1:T:27500:1071=27:1072=rus@3:0:0:1070:8835:2:0

    CHAN3;РТРС:610000:B8D0G16S1T8Y0P1:T:27500:1091=27:1092=rus@3:0:0:1090:8835:2:0

    RADIO;РТРС:610000:B8D0G16S1T8Y0P1:T:27500:0:1132=@4:0:0:1130:8835:2:0

Interesting thing, that t2scan thinks, that on plp1 channels video encoded in h.264 (VPID 10XX=27), but the rest of channels which works fine in VPID XXXX=2. Unfortanetly I did not find any official info about transponders here.

(if I do understand it clear: http://vdr-wiki.de/wiki/index.php/Channels.conf)

  • Stefan thanks, that you do not left me)

The MLD is beutifull. But seems it is not configured well for my devices. It cannot recognize them. Also I have some problems with network to configure. It cannot see my wifi device also. So it will take a time, while I will find workarounds for it. Again problems) Seems my dvb stick is brilliant)

  • Hi,

You can also try easyvdr but I think a minimal system is better to test.

Maybe you can test Ubuntu 20.04 with its vdr packages? Network should work there.

I think the faster way is to get a t230 stick. I went that way.

But feel free to tinker with the astrometa.

    Regards Stefan

  • My system is now Ubuntu 20.04, xfce desktop)

It is good idea to use other device. But I am in thought to buy dvb-s2/t2 in one block device.

Meanwile I wish to win in our war with astrometa vdr and anything else)
