[softhddevice] Bildfehler am unteren Rand

Seit kurzem habe ich das softhddevice von hier am laufen:

Jetzt ist mir aufgefallen, dass zumindest bei 1080er Auflösung am unteren Bildrand ein Streifen ist, wo es "komisch" aussieht.

Der TV zeigt das Bild Nativ an. Also ohne Zoom.

Hallo zusammen,

habe ich bei 1080i 16:9 Quellen (per vaapidevice, auf 50p / 1920x1080 festgetackert) auch.

Gut, dann war das Problem nicht mein vaapidevice Patch ...

VA- und Inteltreiber ist aktuell aus dem GIT.

Kodi hat das Problem nicht - also sollte der Treiber nicht schuld sein.

D.h. sowohl Intel, als auch Nvidia erzeugt das gleiche Problem.

Die Ursache dürfte also in älteren Teilen des Softhddevices oder neueren FFMPEGs liegen.

I have no this with vdpau and cuvid.

Is your TV displaying the picture native? So you see all teh pixels? Try to make screenshots with svdrpsend grab test.jpg

It is hard to see. And only in areas where the lines are not straight. See picture.

Die neueste Version aus dem vdpau+vappi+cuvid Branch braucht ein aktuelles ffmpeg 4.x, alles<=3,4 ist zu alt.
