0.6: keine Oberfläche auf F7, nur Meldungen [gelöst]

    Hab heute mein ION Board (nvidia 9600M) mit yavdr 0.6 installiert. Die Installation geht schnell mit einem USB-Stick durch, vdr wird neu gestartet, dann kommt auch mal kurz das Logo vom vdr, aber dann kommt Konsole1 mit einem Login.


    Auf Konsole 7 stehen folgende Meldungen:

    unter der letzten Meldung blinkt ein Cursor.


    Ich habe das mit first-vdr-start überprüft, in dem ich das script gestartet habe. Da es bis audio durchläuft, hab ich die conf manuell entfernt.
    Weiterhin hab ich neben dem 3.13 Kernel auch den 3.19 Kernel installiert, leider ohne Erfolg.
    Prinzipiell funktioniert der vdr, hab es auf der live Oberfläche versucht und konnte mit der Fernbedienung im vdr navigieren.

    So, hab geschaut,


    es gibt eine Datei /etc/X11/xorg.conf.yavdr mit folgendem Inhalt:


    Sieht für mich aber so aus, als wenn da der Inhalt bisher fehlt....
    Ich hatte schon versucht, das Display neu zu suchen (nach vorhandenen Bildschirmen suchen), gab aber kein Ergebnis. Außerdem standen da keinerlei Daten zum Bildschirm:

    Hab festgestellt, dass neben dem nvidia-340 auch noch Teile des nvidia-304 existent waren. Hab daher alle nvidia* deinstalliert und den nvidia-340 neu installiert.
    So jetzt geht auch openbox und wird auf dem TV angezeigt. Wenn ich den vdr starte, hab ich allerdings kein Bild mehr auf dem TV, vdr läuft aber in live.
    Hab dann mal auf Xine als Ausgabedevice geschaltet und siehe da, es gab ein Bild.
    Anschließend hab ich die Videoeinstellungen vom Softhddevice mit der der 0.5 verglichen. Hab sie dann entsprechend der 0.5 abgeändert und siehe da auch Softhddevice macht Bild :)
    Folgende Änderungen führten zu einem Bild:
    - Benutze Studiolevels (nurvdpau) ja
    - Sanftanlauf A/V-Sync nein


    Damit funzt dann auch softhddevice :)

    Hast du eventuell noch die xorg.conf.yavdr von yaVDR 0.5? Eventuell hilft es die mal einzuspielen.


    Ansonsten würde ich den nvidia-304 Treiber mal installieren (und den 340er deinstallieren) und schauen, ob es damit besser wird.

    Problem gelöst :) Das von ubuntu bekannte Problem von verschiedenen NVIDIA Treiberstücken....
    erkannt habe ich es beim Aufruf von:

    dpkg --get-selections | grep -i nvidia


    Da waren einige 304 und einige 340.


    Danach hab ich mit

    Code
    apt-get --purge autoremove nvidia* libcuda*


    alle Nvidiatreiber entfernt.
    Anschließend folgende Pakete installiert:

    apt-get install nvidia-340 nvidia-settings libcuda1-340 nvidia-opencl-icd-340


    Danach einmal neu starten und im WFE das Display neu suchen.


    Dann musste ich die Änderungen bei Softhddevice machen und es ging :)


    Vielleicht hilft es wem anders.


    Den nvidiatreiber hatte ich vorab für die 9400M bei nvidia auf der HP abgefragt. Dort stand, dass diese vom 340-iger Treiber unterstützt wird.

    Das ist vermutlich auch der Grund, weshalb der Treiber mit "ubuntu-drivers autoinstall" automatisch ausgewählt wird.


    Kannst du noch die PCI-ID der Grafikkarte posten?

    Mit der Nvidia "GT 520" scheint es das gleiche Spiel zu sein.
    Nur so nebenbei bemerkt:

    Das ist anscheinend ein ubuntu Problem. Hatte das schon früher beim update der nvidia Treiber, dass danach ein Mix von Treibern aktiv war, weswegen der nvidia Treiber nicht funktionierte. Daher hatte ich hier auch geschaut. Warum das nicht sauber geht, weiss ich auch nicht.

    ich hatte auch dieses Problem.... (hab eine zbox mit ner gt640 drinne)
    1. es waren kunterbunt nvidia treiber geladen (340 und 304) => habe dann die 352 installiert aber immer noch nach dem Start ne Konsole weil openbox aussteigt


    dann hatte ich diese Meldung in dmesg

    Ich kann mir nur zusammenreimen das yavdr bei der Installation da was aussucht und das halt verkehrt ist....
    Man muesste halt nur das mit der höchsten Nummer nehmen koennen...
