[SOLVED] Help with Live plugin

  • Hi,
I have VDR 2.2.0 installed on Ubuntu Server 14.04.2 LTS, and its working excellent as a backend for my clients with VDR-vnsi-server.
I compiled from the projects.vdr-developer.org/vdr.git, including the plugins (except vnsi-server, that is from (FernetMenta).

VNSI-server plugin works excellent. However, live is not working. Compiling and install went without any errors, however, if I add live to start (-P live), booting goes into an infinity loop with the following error you will see in the last two lines of syslog.
I have followed the install instruction from the live readme, so I compiled Tntnet and Cxxtools too. Folder Live from source is copies to vdr\PLUGINS folder.

Any ideas and how to proceed?

Maybe create the folder manually and fix permissions.

Yes, that might help. What permissions to give, the user who is running vdr in group videos, or vdr also?

EDIT: That fixed the problem indeed! Setting user permission solved the problem with live plugin. Now I have another problems, but that is not related to this thread. Thanks for your help!
