DVBSky DKMS

    Ich glaube, ich habe die Lösung gefunden: Den dkms.conf Parameter CHECK_MODULE_VERSION=n gibt es normalerweise nicht. Der geht bei mir nur, weil ich dkms aus dem yavdr main repository installiert habe.



    Kannst du mal testen, ob es mit dem dkms bei dir dann auch geht ?

    Hatte mich beim Googlen auch schon gewundert, warum das Format vom erwarteten ="no" der anderen Parameter abweicht und fast alle Treffer in dieses Portal führen.

    Gerne, gleich nach der POST_INSTALL-Kludge (mit 2*cp;depmod -a).
    Zögere natürlich wegen der Wartbarkeit (LTS!) eher, zusätzliche Repositories einzubinden, da die Maschine für mich meist nur per ssh zugänglich ist.

    ich habe das selbe Linux und die gleiche Karte wie hier im Posting DVBSky DKMS


    Ich hatte DKMS auch so eingerichtet, beim heutigen Kernel-Update funktionierte es dann nicht. Kann man irgendwie herausfinden was der Fehler ist? Was muss ich mir da anschauen?

    hast Glück gehabt, ich war zufällig gerade online. Du hast dkms aus den Original Ubuntu Quellen installiert, damit geht es nicht. Du brauchst den gepatchen dkms aus dem yavdr main repository, steht so auch in den Voraussetzungen. Nur bei dem gibt es den Parameter "CHECK_MODULE_VERSION=n". So richtig Sinn macht das natürlich nur, wenn du eh yavdr verwendest.

    Das heißt, ich müsste dkms aus den Quellen von yavdr verwenden? Entsprechend müsste es dann dieses hier für Trusty sein? http://ppa.launchpad.net/yavdr/main/ubuntu/pool/main/d/dkms/. Wenn ich yavdr nicht verwende, funktioniert es auch noch oder zerschieße ich mir dann irgendwas?


    Der Server existiert schon ein bissl länger so und ich wollte nun nicht die Distribution noch mal ändern ;)

    ja, der Link stimmt. Ob das aber so funktioniert oder an anderer Stelle deines Servers Probleme macht, kann ich nicht abschätzen, ich habe es so nie ausprobiert. Also Image Backup des Systems machen und es versuchen, oder bei der manuellen Methode bleiben.

    hat übrigends nicht funktioniert. Ich hatte noch ein bisschen was anderes probiert und das funktionierte auch nicht. Nun kompiliere ich wieder manuell. Dann mache ich mir halt ein Shell-Script und fertig. Ist zwar doof, aber bevor ich da nun noch mehr Zeit reinstecke ...


    darf ich halt den Rechner nicht mehr neustarten :wow

    ich habe eine DVBSky 952 v3 und eine TeVii 482 zusammen eingebaut, nun scheint sich aber der liplianin-Treiber für die TeVii mit dem DVBSky-Treiber gegenseitig ins Knie zu schießen. Habe ich irgendwie eine Chance, hier aus dem mediabuild-Teil nur die DVBSky-Module zu erstellen, so dass die TeVii weiterhin ihre Module entsprechend der folgenden Anleitung bekommen kann? Wenn ich das richtig verstehe, baut dkms nach der obigen Anleitung ja immer alle Module aus dem mediabuild-Verzeichnis.
