[Gelöst] eigene Selberschuld.... VDR lässt sich nur noch manuell starten und andere Probleme...

  • Hallo liebe VDR Gemeinde und ein frohes neues Jahr erstmal.




    Ich hatte vor ein paar Tagen ein Dist-Upgrade gemacht, seitdem will das Frontend nicht mehr starten, nur noch mit dem Befehl vdr "-P"xineliboutput --local=none --remote=37890 --primary""



    Die Syslog spuckt mir :

    und das dauerhaft. Nun gibt es im Internet viele Lösungsansätze, desweiteren ist es auch so das einige Einträge in der var/lib/vdr/setup.conf doppelt vorhanden sind.


    Desweiteren werden keine Plugins mehr geladen, im Einstellungsmenü steht nur noch xinlibout drin...



    Wo soll ich anfangen zu suchen bzw. wie kann ich das problem lösen???

  • Ok, die Paketversionen sollten passen.
    Wie sieht die /etc/default/vdr aus? Darf der VDR starten?


    Mach mal folgendes:

    # mindestens 30 Sekunden warten
    pastebinit /var/log/syslog

  • a) Ich verstehe nicht warum man unbedingt an den Berechtigungen von Ordnern herumspielen muss wenn man keine Ahnung hat (und dann noch eine irreführende vermutete Ursache angibt, denn das Problem ist garantiert nicht durch ein dist-upgrade verursacht worden).
    b) Der User VDR braucht Lese- und Schreibrechte für /srv/vdr/video.00 und er muss auf die übergeordneten Verzeichnisse mindestens lesend zugreifen dürfen.
    Das sollte also falls du nich noch mit chmod rumgespielt hast alles gerade biegen:

    chown -R vdr:vdr /srv

  • dann weiß ich woher das kommt, mir war meine Medienplatte abgeraucht, ich hatte ne Image gezogen, bzw. die Ordner auf ner anderen Platte neu erstellt und vergessen die Rechte für den VDR zu setzen, nun ist alles wieder da und alles beim alten.
