an meinem WAF-Client lt. Sig. kann ich die Kiste mit XBMC-Frontend nicht ausschalten ... über das Menu "Herunterfahren" startet sich XBMC einfach neu.
Nur ein entferntes "sudo init 0" macht die Kiste aus.

Syslog und XBMC-Log wären vermutlich hilfreich...

Irgendwo konnte man das doch einstellen, dass XBMC auch den ganzen VDR runterfahren darf ... ich finde es nicht.

könnt ihr mal im webfrontend alle häkchen bei lifeguard entfernen und speichern? und dann nochmal den shutdown testen bitte.
Das Problem hatte ich auch,es liegt so wie ich das sehe am Lifeguard.
Nachdem der Haken bei XBMC raus war funktioniert das Herunterfahren.
Ich denke das Problem liegt im automatischen Neustart von XBMC (Wenn der Lifeguard für XBMC aktiv ist):
XBMC "Herunterfahren/Reboot" wird gewählt -> XBMC wird beendet und Shutdown wird eingeleitet -> XBMC wird neugestartet (durch Script oder was immer) -> Lifeguard sieht das XBMC läuft und bricht den Shutdown ab.
Etwas anderes was mir aufgefallen ist sowohl bei 0.4 als auch bei 0.5 ist das wenn ich "Reboot" in XBMC wähle, der Rechner manchmnal einfach herunterfährt anstelle zu rebooten, habt Ihr das auch schonmal festgestellt?

Bislang gar nicht. Das xvdr-addon erzeugt User-Aktivität, so dass der VDR niemals den Timeout selbstständig erreicht, solange XBMC läuft. Ein möglicher Ansatz wäre ein modifiziertes Powersave-Addon mit gleichzeitigem deaktivieren der XBMC-Option für das Lifegard-Addon im Webfrontend: Rechner abschalten nach Aufnahme? - Wer Lust hat, kann das ja mal testen...
