VDR Streamdev Client / Hardware

    Seit heute ist der "Big Shuriken 2" drauf und nun ist auch Ruhe im Karton :tup :D

    wie meinst Du das genau?
    Einfach den Lüfter abstecken und die Temperaturen beobachten im Bios?

    Ja entweder abklemmen oder mit "fancontrol" ausschalten, gehört zu lm-sensors.
    Zum Überprüfen normaler Betrieb (SDTV oder HDTV) nehmen, im Bios wird extrem viel Leistung verbraten.
    Entsprechende Programme sind auch im lm-sensors Packet.
    Bei richtig konfigurierten Kernel, auch einfach:

    cat /sys/bus/platform/drivers/coretemp/coretemp.*/temp*_input
oder
watch cat /sys/bus/platform/drivers/coretemp/coretemp.*/temp*_input


    Wäre halt intressant zuwissen wie sich ein "Big Shuriken 2" im passiv Betrieb schlägt.
    Bei Temperaturen über 90° aber umbedingt abbrechen.

    hatte nen Kozuti auf dem g620t / der ging eigentlich nur beim compilieren mal kurz an / hat sich aber nur gaaaaaanz langsam gedreht ;)

    johns: Ich hab die Kiste momentan nicht im Live-Betrieb, HDTV hab ich noch gar nicht in Betrieb bei mir. Wird also noch dauern um das mal zu testen.


    Moorviper: Wie meinst Du das mit "der ging eigentlich nur beim compilieren mal kurz an"? Kann man einstellen, dass der Lüfter aus ist und erst ab einer bestimmtem Temp anfängt zu laufen? Das wär genau das was ich möchte aber nicht weiss wie.

    der Prozessor kam im normalen betrieb nie über 4% last und war somit KALT EISKALT da geht nie ein Lüfter an ;)


    im bios ist bei mir die lüftergeschwindigkeit auf low eingestellt

    ich wollt eben mal nachschauen, aber coretemp ist gar nicht drauf bei meinem easyVDR-0.8 !?


    Wie installier ich das nach?

    coretemp ist im linux Kernel. Sollte im normalen Kernel drin sein.


    "Device Drivers " -> "Hardware Monitoring support" -> "Intel Core/Core2/Atom temperature sensor"


    Wenn es nicht fest im Kernel drin ist, gibt es vielleicht als Module?

    Wie check ich das? Bin leider nicht der Super-Linux-Checker :)


    Hab heute abend mal noch das "systeminfo" Plugin installiert, doch das liefert auch nix. Bei der Problemsuche bin ich dann drauf gestossen, dass das Plugin aber noch "lm-sensors" benötigt. Das hab ich dann auch noch installiert und mit "sensors-detect" versucht zu konfigurieren, doch leider wird da gar nix gefunden!?


    Also entweder liegts an easyVDR mit scz-Kernel oder an meiner zu neuen Hardware, k.a.

    Keine Ahnung wie und was easyVDR hat.


    Du brauchst auch für lm-sensors die Kernelmodule für die Sensoren.
    Musst mal suchen ob es zusätzliche Kernelmodule gibt, ansonsten muß dir jemand der easyVDR kennt helfen.
