I'm happy to annouce that now I have also build an english version of my Webbased allpication for Showcenter and compatible clients inculding vdr support. Here a short featurelist.
Featureset
General
- You can use several clients at the same time, the only limit is the performance of the server
- Sleeptimer (stops all action and is returning back to main menu after defined time)
- available languages are english and german so far
- The software is supporting NTSC and PAL standard, please select the format in the config file.
Additional Browser functions
- Seperate Resolution used when running the software with a browser, resolution is between 720*480 and 1024*768
- Direct start of audio and videoplayer out of the browser, is browser is configured correctly
Autofunctions
- Directstart with number keys for up to 98 entries
- start Radiostation
- start Shoutcast stream
- start music playlist
- start TV channel'
- Autostart of a channel or stream directly after switching on Showcenter
- Autostop function after defined time.
Music
- playback of MP3 files
- playback of m3u playlists
- Creating and modifying of m3u playlists
- database supported search for title, song, interpreter and other settings
- displaying a background picture with information about the played song
- use of ID3 tags including displaying a cover picture within the mp3 file or from a seperate photo
- generation of a cover picture if none original one is available.
Video
- playback of MPEG video files
- Movie information can be shown if a vdr compatible format is available
- playback of other video formats if supported by media client
- playback of DVD vob files directly from a DVD (only for non protected DVD's)
- playback of recorded movies.
Photo
- Preview in overview or single photo mode
- Photo shows with or without mucic and a picture duration time which can be definbed by the user
- Menu selectable definition of music playlists for each photo directory
Radio
- playback of Shoutcast streams
- search for genre
- Definition of your own favorite list
- Manual creation for your own Shoutcast channels
- display of a nice background picture while streming a shoutcast station
- live stream of all available vdr radio stations
- support of vdr channel lists
TV
- live stream of all available vdr tv stations and selection of your preferred sound channel
- easy selection of TV channellist
- direct switching of Tv channels
- detailed TV information with the help of the electronic program guide
- creation of recording timer
- deletion of existing timer
