Thx, cooles Teil , so brauche ich nicht immer
Xebian rebooten

.
Allerdings solltest noch erwaehnen dass man im Script
die IP des Host aendern muss , die channels.conf mit der vom
Host austauschen und mit PS gabs hier Abstuerze , so das ich es
auf PES geaendert habe (was hier auch schneller funzt).

Gibt es Pläne, das Script noch um andere Funktionen zu erweitern (EPG anschauen,Timer Programmieren, Aufnahmen anschauen usw.)?

Funktioniert das ganze eigentlich nur von einer XBox aus, oder kann man auch als Client einen XP MCE PC nehmen?

Ok, ich habe mich vor dem Schreiben einer INSTALL.txt gedrückt ;-) Dass das XBMC auch "PES" schafft wusste ich nicht - während des Entwickelns hat sich der VDR doch einige Male verabschiedet, wohl aufgrund von PS. Danke.

@pbriesch:
"Aufnahmen anschauen" - SAMBA share.
EPG... - geplant, aber das kann dauern. Die channels.conf auf die Xbox kopieren ist auch nur eine Übergangslösung. Besser ist natürlich ein "Update Channel.conf"-button.
Es gab mal ein ähnlich - sogar komplexeres - französisches Projekt, aber ich habe es nie zum Laufen bekommen.

Die nächsten Wochen muss ich schwer TOEFLn, deshalb habe ich nur wenig Zeit

Meinst du das mit Softdevice

Rennt auch gut , nur muss man immer rebooten

So ist das besser und dank PES auch einigermassen schnell ( langt fuers Schlafzimmer)

Hi, und wie ist das Bild? Damit meine ich das schon angesprochene Flackern und Ruckeln wie beim Softdevice. Ist es so wie als ob man ne DVD abspielt, flüssig? Es gab mal ne Version vom XBMC, glaub die erste Novemberausgabe, da war sogar die DVD Ausgabe ruckelig und flimmerte, aber nur diese eine Version.
Als ich das letze mal mit Playlisten experimentiert hatte, war es auch rucklich und flimmerte, die DVD Ausgabe auf der BOX war super.
Kann es im Moment nicht testen, da meine Box beim Kumpel ist.

Softdevice - nein nicht Softdevice, sondern ebenfalls ein XBMC Skript...

Also Qualität ist schon nicht übel, zumal ich das Ganze in 720p (Sanyo Z3) schaue ;-)

Wie wäre es die Channels via SVDRP auszulesen? Bei mir ist die Liste mit 4 LNBs ja nicht die kürzeste. ;-) (>>2600 Channels)

Wow, das hört sich gut an. Mit welchem Adapter gehst Du denn auf 720p, Eigenbau oder was käuflich zu erwerbendes? Wie macht die Xbox denn das scaling, afaik mach sie das doch intern per Hardware und das wohl (vom hörensagen) recht gut. Kannst Du das bestätigen, lohnt sich dahingehender Aufwand? Ich geh momentan mit RGB raus. Hast Du schonmal "echte" 720p gestreamt, packt die Xbox das?

Das Scaling macht die NVidia GPU, ist eigentlich gut.
RGB geht nur bis 480i? Naja das ist zu 720p nochmal einiges an Unterschied.

Echte 720p schafft die Xbox nicht, da ein Celeron doch viel zu schwach ist. Ich warte auf ne geknackte 360 ;-)

Hä? Gerade das ist doch der Sinn des Plugins...

Du brauchst irgendwo im Netzwerk einen VDR mit Streamdev-Server und kannst dann über die XBox den Stream empfangen und schauen....

vdr und xbox hab ich beides verbunden und das plugin für das xbmc hab ich auch instaliert. aber wie oder wo kommt da dann bild?

Das Skript aufrufen, Kanal wählen und wenn alles richtig funzt, dann gibt es nun nen hübsches Bild. Die Skripte sind meist unter (^ > Scripts) zu finden.
