Bei meinem Zotac Geforce 9300er Board funktioniert E-SATA Hitplugging nicht, d.h. ich muss booten um eine neu angesteckte ESATA einzubinden.
Ohne den Neustart spuckt dmesg nur einige ATA Fehler beim Einstecken der Platte aus, ohne ein device anzulegen.
Gibts dafuer evtl irgendwelche BIOS Settings die ich uebersehen habe oder liegts am Kernel/Treiber ?

Ist der SATA-Port auf "AHCI" geschaltet?

Das kenne ich das H67N usb3 b3 will es auch ums verrecken nicht
Wie lang sind deine Kabel / evtl mal mit einem kürzeren probieren

SATA ist auf AHCI gestellt, es gibt noch "Linux AHCI" aber wenn ich das nehme dann bootet die erste Platte gleich gar nicht

Zotac ION A (auch 9300er) macht da keine zicken, zumindest mit den eSata-Geräten die ich hab.
Was willst du da ran hängen, normale Platte oder ein Mehrfachgehäuse? Falls ein MG, bedenke das der 9300er kein Portmultipler mit macht!

Das ist ein Single Externes Gehause. Steckt die Platte beim Booten drinne dann siehts so aus:

Es war wohl ein generelles Problem des externen SATA Gehaeuses, ich bekam es dann auch per Reboot nicht mehr eingebunden (auch an nem 2. Rechner), nun habe ich die Platte lokal in einen Rechner eingebaut und gut ists
