XP und gen2vdr auf einer platte,geht das?

Hallo

könnte ich XP und gen2vdr zusammen auf einer platte laufen lassen?wenn ja wie geht das?vielen dank schon mal im voraus

Hallo,
bei mir ist auf der ersten Partition XP installiert. Bei der Installation von Gen2VDR 1.2 kann man interaktiv die 2. Partitionen für Gen2VDR festlegen.

Nach der Installation muss noch lilo angepasst werden (# Zeilen sind schon vorhanden), damit XP im Bootmanager auftaucht.

Hier ist auch eine Anleitung.

ein Auszug aus den readme,

Man kann bei der manuellen Installation die Partitionen beliebig waehlen.
Falls Windows installiert ist und man Dual Boot moechte, muss nach der
Installation in der /etc/lilo.conf der Eintrag mit "other /dev/hda1"
am Ende auskommentiert und angepasst werden und lilo gestartet werden.


das readme findet man übrigens dort wo man die gen2vdr runterläd/die installhinwinweise zu finden sind.

ist das orginale activity system normales xp? Bin der Meinung das ist ähnlich wie beim "orginalen" mp nen abgespeckten win98. Allerdinds habe ich noch nie die "orginale" software des mp gesehen, geschweige das der activity, von daher alles ohne Gewähr.

Bei mir ist die Software und einiges an Hardware nicht mehr orginal. ;)
Ich glaube orginal war Win98 drauf.
