[0.4Pre1] HUD nicht möglich

Hallo,

ich mache lieber mal einen neuen Thread auf, das ganze ist doch nicht so leicht wie gedacht!
Wenn ich auf HUD umstelle, wird Composite auch brav aktiviert, aber es passiert folgendes. Sobald ich versuche das Menü oder anderweitig das OSD zu öffnen, beginnt ein ständiger Wechsel zwischem schwarzen Bildschirm und sichtbaren Mauszeiger. Das Log zeigt an der Stelle dann folgendes:

Ich würde einfach vorschlagen: Wenn Du ein neues Posting schreibst, denke vorher darüber nach, wie Du es so formulieren kannst, dass es auch anderen Usern hier im VDR-Portal hilft, die am gleichen Problem interessiert sind. Eine hohe Anzahl von Postings, die für mich den Anschein haben, sie sollen nur Dir selbst helfen und niemand anderem, macht mich als Moderator eher ungeduldig.

Ja, habe ich und das gebe ich zu! Ich habe die lircrc abgeändert und ein wenig mit der grub.cfg "gespielt", sprich in /etc/default/grub den Kernelparameter "hpet=disable" eingetragen und den timeout des Grub-Menüs geändert. Mehr nicht!

Auf meinem Test-Client mit der GF 210 stürzt xineliboutput ab, wenn Anthra 1920_FS als Skin ausgewählt ist und ich das OSD aufrufe. Mit Anthra *_OS und 720_FS, PearlHD (native) und Narrow-HD tritt das nicht auf.

Hey, das klingt nach einem guten Ansatz! Ich habe zwar "Black and Blue" als Skin, aber auch 1920_FS. Also werde ich das mal mit einem anderen Skin probieren, wenn der Rechner gerade nicht aufnimmt., so in einer Stunde.

@Hotzenplotz Das war die Konfig ohne aktiviertes HUD, darum sind die HUD-Opts auch leer. Was ich geändert habe, steht da!

Das ist die Lösung!
Aber was bringt mir das HUD eigentlich? So halbtransparent war auch schon der B_and_b-Skin!

1.) ist experimental - heisst soviel wie nicht empfohlen, aber wer es probieren möchte .... Probleme erwartet (launcher/Stabilität)

Ach deswegen wollte ich das noch mal probieren. Also der NarrowHD wirkt in beiden Fällen nahezu gleich. Anthra macht nur Probleme genau wie B_and_B. PearlHD geht auch. Gibt es denn einen Skin im Repo, wo mir die Kieferlade runterfällt?

Der Native pearlhd dürfte am dichtesten dran sein - weiss jetzt grad nicht wie weit er gediehen ist.

Stimmt, bei PearlHD merkt man doch etwas mehr Unterschiede. Aber da bei der Pre1 eh schon die Transparenz besser ist, sehe ich da jetzt noch nicht den großen Vorteil. Leider ist die Schrift auch nicht besser geglättet, die sieht beim xine-Output richtig gut aus, aber dafür gehen da andere Dinge nicht. Okay, ich sollte nicht so sehr OT werden, sonst gibts wieder mecker.

Also wenn jemand HUD testen will, dann vorher den OSD-Skin auf PearlHD umstellen.

Vorteile von HUD sind:
- Truecolor
- Sanftes ein und ausblenden des OSD
- kein ruckeln und schnellere Bedienung des OSD

Nachteile:
- Läuft noch nicht 100% stabil beim starten von sxfe
- höhere GPU Last

PearlHD native nutzt es derzeit nur für die Anzeige der Bilder. (Logos, epgimages,...). In Zukunft soll es auch irgendwann mal eine Version geben die alles in Pixmaps zeichnet, ich komme aber derzeit nicht wirklich dazu daran weiter zu machen.

Den wichtigste Nachteil hast du vergessen. Die Bildausgabe erfolgt scheinbar intern nur mit 25 Bildern. Sehr gut auf N24 zusehen an der Laufschrift. Das heißt es ruckelt aber so gleichmäßig, dass die meisten Leute es glücklicherweise nicht sehen. Ich leider schon.

Das ist mir so noch nicht aufgefallen, werde ich mir bei Gelegenheit aber mal angucken.

Was mir aber hier im Thread aufgefallen ist sind eure Optionen die ihr mitgebt.

1	HUDOPTS="--opengl --hud=opengl"

Die Option --opengl sorgt dafür das sowohl Video als auch OSD per OpenGL ausgegeben werden. Die Option --hud=opengl gibt das Video direkt ins Window aus und wechselt nur auf Video-Ausgabe über OpenGL wenn ein OSD geöffnet wird, das hatte ich bei mir aber nie vernünftig zum laufen bekommen.
Eine der beiden Optionen sollte dann eigentlich ausreichen.

Es gibt noch einen Nachteil:
Es ist quasi dann dasselbe wie mit XBMC: Menü links lässt sich nicht aufrufen (Maus ist nicht da) und es lässt sich auch nicht auf einen anderen Desktop wechseln, also fallen sämtliche grafische Konfigurationsmöglichkeiten, wie Synaptic, flach.
