yaVDR 0.3 question

hello all,

I'm using yaVDR and I have a little question: which version of xbmc is included in yaVDR 0.3?

Is it dharma? If no, how I can update xbmc to use dharma?

best regards,

Hier:
http://vdr-portal.de/board/thread.php?th…light=opdenkamp

Hallo,

also ich hab in meiner yaVDR Installation die XBMC-Version gegen die Final mit PVR Funktion von Lars Opdenkamp. Funktioniert super! Damit funktionieren auch die aktuellen Plugins/Addons.

Zu Installation mußt Du folgendes machen:
code:

sudo untie-packages
sudo apt-get remove xbmc*
sudo apt-get install python-software-properties

Dann in der /etc/apt/sources.list.d/yavdr.list folgende Zeile auskommentieren:
code:

#deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/yavdr/stable-xbmc/ubuntu lucid main

Das neue Repository hinzufügen:
code:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:lars-opdenkamp/xbmc-pvr
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install xbmc

Danach kannst Du XBMC wie gewohnt aus dem VDR heraus starten. Es läuft auch weiterhin unter dem User vdr (Konfigurationsdateien liegen dann auch unter /var/lib/vdr/.xbmc/).

Viel Erfolg dabei.

Viele Grüße,

No!

Tommy.Z wrote xbmc-master-pvr

You must disable yavdr-xbmc:

Source code

1
#deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/yavdr/stable-xbmc/ubuntu lucid main

And add the Opdenkamp PPA:

Source code

1
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:lars-opdenkamp/xbmc-master-pvr

The other Steps wrote Tommy.Z to, but it it's better for you to read some stuff from System upgrades and changes bevor you change the System ;)
