  • Bei beiden muss man die Treiber selber bauen - und das für jede neue Kernelversion. Lustig wird es erfahrungsgemäß in der Kombi mit anderen Karten, die auch eigene gepatchte Treiberpakete mitbringen oder mit Lirc-Empfängern. Alles lösbar und Gegenstand zahlreicher Threads hier - aber willst du den Aufwand?

    Ja ok die cine S2 wir ja immer empfohlen^^. Die kostet aber auch doppelt soviel wie die anderen.
    Kannst mir sagen was der unterschied zwischen der 5,5 und der 6,0 ist.

  • Auf den ersten Blick würde ich sagen, an die V6 kann man zwei Erweiterungsmodule anschließen, an die V5.5 nur eines - was sich sonst noch getan hat, weiß ich nicht - aber da gibt es ja kompetente Leute hier im Portal, die die SAT-Karten besser kennen...

    Die kostet aber auch doppelt soviel wie die anderen.


    Bei dieser Entscheidung kann dir keiner helfen:
    - entweder mehr Geld ausgeben, dafür weniger daran arbeiten müssen.
    - weniger Geld ausgeben, dafür mehr daran arbeiten müssen.


    Wenn man nicht genug Geld UND nicht genug Ahnung hat, dazu dann auch nicht die Zeit oder Möglichkeit, sich das Wissen anzueignen, dann muss man sich nach einer fertigen, günstigen Lösung umschauen, bei der man Hersteller-Support in Anspruch nehmen kann. Und evtl. muss man dann Abstriche an seine Wünsche machen. Ich hätte auch gerne ein schickes Wohnmobil mit allem drum und dran, aber es reicht eben doch nur für einen alten LT28...


    Wenn man genug Zeit (und Lust) hat, sich mit dem Thema auseinander zu setzen, dann spielt es keine Rolle, was man kauft. Das kann man ja auch als Hobby sehen, z.B. die Treiber so umzubauen, dass sie "problemlos" mit bestimmten Kernelpaketen von populären Distributionen zusammenpassen. Das erfordert aber langfrisitges Engagement, sonst passiert sowas wie es vielen Plugins passiert - sie veralten, keiner kümmert sich drum und irgendwann sind sie unbenutzbar.


    Wenn man genug Geld hat, ist alles egal... :) Zu diesen Leuten gehöre ich z.B. nicht, möchte meine vorhandene Zeit aber gerne in andere Baustellen investieren (denn auch davon habe ich nur begrenzt viel), weshalb ich dann einfach Karten nehme, die vernünftig unterstützt werden, auch wenn sie ein bisschen teurer sind.

  • Dein Log ist ok. Die Karten meldet sich bei mir genauso, nur etwas schneller :)


    Ich habe zwar auch den Eindruck, dass der Tuner nicht der Beste ist. Meine alten Skystars waren empfindlicher. Aber das Bild ist ok und der Empfang stabil, was will man mehr. Ich muss aber dazu sagen, das ich keine schwierigen Empfangsverhältnisse oder besondere Ansprüche wie Erweiterbarkeit oder CI Slot habe. Von daher ist die Wahl der Tevii für mich ok.

    Er versucht sich zweimal an der Initialisierung der Karte und zum Schluss sind Firmware und Treiber dann geladen.

    Die fallen dann raus, wenn dir das selbst bauen der Treiber zu aufwendig ist. Es gibt von DVBSky ein Treiberpaket und die benötigte Firmware (http://www.dvbsky.net/Support.html) - das muss man herunterladen, entpacken und für jede neu installierte Kernelversion den Bau der Treiber wieder anstoßen und die Module installieren. Alternativ kannst du den Kernel 3.6 patchen (für den Kernel 3.7 darf man erst mal die Pfade im Patch anpassen, weil sich die Struktur der ganzen Treiber massiv geändert hat) und dann einen selbst gebauten Kernel nutzen. Wie mini73 geschrieben hat nichts unmögliches, aber gerade wenn man es erst lernen muss etwas aufwendiger.

    Wenn es Treiber bis in einen regulären stabilen Linux-Kernel geschafft haben, kann man normalerweise davon ausgehen, dass die Unterstützung durch die Treiberentwickler gut ist und er so schnell nicht rausfliegen wird. Vorteil ist einfach, dass du nach Belieben Linux-Distributionen mit einem halbwegs aktuellen Kernel nutzen kannst ohne dir Gedanken über die Besonderheiten beim Treiberbau zu machen.

    Was bringt dich zu der Vermutung, dass die Tevii daran schuld ist. Sind die Ruckler nur bei HD oder auch bei SD? HD ist z.B. viel empfindlicher was Verkabelung angeht.

  • Ist bei SD genau so. Wie gesagt dachte das es an der Empfangsqualität liegt weil die schlechter ist als bei meinen alten SD Karten. Es hätte ja auch was im log stehen können so wie es aber aussieht nix drin steht.
    Naja die beiden anderen Karten fallen raus werde ich mal die Cine S2 bestellen. Sollte dann Problem weg sein werde ich wohl die Euro in die Hand nehmen.
    Wenn wer noch andere Info braucht um Fehler auszuschließen einfach bescheid geben.

  • So schlecht ist Empfang der Tevii nun auch nicht, daß es bei SD Ruckler gibt. Bei Empfangsprob haste Klötzchen. Ich vermute, du hast ein anderes Problem. Vielleicht läuft dein Frontend nicht richtig. Was verwendest du? Im Syslog während Ruckler was zu sehen?
