0.6.0 and Nvidia card not recognize [SOLVED]

    What is changed in yaVDR 0.6.0 installation? I installed this system yesterday and today made reinstallation. Now Nvidia card not recognize anymore.

    Default there is no xorg.conf but I have created that using command

    sudo nvidia-xconfig


    I have also tried reinstall drivers 304, 352 and use different kernels 3.19 and 4.2.

    I tested now this command

    sudo process-template /etc/X11/xorg.conf.yavdr


    And seems that this helped me, using now 304 drivers.


    I get picture but still reboot not work. Let see how I can fix that.
    Edit. Reboot also works. Took only of his own time.

    Team, ich habe das exakt selbe Problem (gehabt - danke perusmuro :tup ). Bei mir war das Symptom, dass ich nach der Installation lediglich eine Konsole erhielt - das war's. Irgend welche Ideen ?

    I run into same trouble after installing yavdr 0.6 on my vdr1 hardware.
    With sudo process-template /etc/X11/xorg.conf.yavdr it works like a charm.
    I am using nvidia-352.

    Had the same problem with no X after several reboots and trying to configure the display with yaVDR webfrontend (http://ip-yaVDR)


    Then i started "startx" from my account while X will not start.


    Used "nvidia-settings" to my settings and wrote the config to xorg.conf.yavdr in /etc/X11


    After a reboot X started in yaVDR like a charm.

    Same problem with my 2nd installation (see signature HTPC3) - solution as described above works fine.
    Maybe it's worth the development team has a look into the ISO ?
